Parks and Recreation season 6, episode 12, “Farmers Market” airs tonight at 8:30 p.m. on NBC. Leslie and Ben investigate shady business practices at the farmers market.
Last week on Parks and Rec, Leslie and Ben both started new jobs, which were pretty much exactly the same as their old jobs and Chris and Anne finally decided to get married.
This week both couples will be distracted by a few things, prior to Ann and Chris’s departure of the show next week.
Leslie and Ben will be investigating questionable business practices at the Pawnee farmers market. We suspect that it will highlight the seriously absurd aspects of small town life in the way only Parks and Rec can.
Ann will be dealing with the “annoying” aspects of her pregnancy. We’re not sure what, but we imagine it can’t have anything to do with a man who looks like Rob Lowe doting on you.
April will be supporting Andy in a new creative venture and thanks to this deleted scene NBC has provided, it looks like Mr. Dwyer is back in the “musically describing the plots of movies” game.
Billy Eichner will guest star again and Adam Scott makes his directorial debut behind the camera. From early looks, it would be safe to describe this as a transitional episode to the Ann and Chris goodbye-a-palooza next week. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t any laughs to be mined in a farmers market.
