According to Oscar winning director Ron Howard, Chris Pratt’s ever rising stock just rose even higher by being cast in Jurassic World.
Lots of people met last night at the Golden Globes (see the complete list of winners here), but a certain pairing has caught our eye.
Oscar winning director Ron Howard tweeted an image of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, saying that it was the first time they met and that they will be working together on Jurassic World.
Bryce Dallas Howard, who was cast in Jurassic World back in September, is of course Ron Howard’s daughter, so it’s likely the famed director would know.

The casting is not official as of yet, but as we said, Ron Howard would know.
If the casting does indeed come true, it’ll be another great role for Pratt. He’s been a poster boy for actors that should be huge stars but aren’t, and it’s great to see him getting his due.
Most notably, Pratt has the role of Star-Lord (Peter Quill) in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy. That’ll be his biggest role to date, and it’s sure to put him on the map for a lot of people who don’t know who he is yet.

Pratt, currently best known for his role on Parks and Recreation, also has some great supporting credits to his name. While not a huge role, Pratt is great in Her which is currently in theaters. Pratt also had great supporting work in Zero Dark Thirty, Moneyball, and Delivery Man.
