Watch the best 2014 Grammy Award performances from Sunday evening again and again!
The evening started off with a “surprise”: Beyoncé and Jay Z performed “Drunk In Love” from her new, self-titled album. It is the first time she’s performed a song from the album live on television. Though her appearance was technically a surprise, a commercial accidentally spilled the news last week.
Next up was Lorde who had a haunting performance of her most popular song “Royals”:
Third was Katy Perry (it was surprising that the Grammys put the most popular artists within the first half hour) with her surprise hit “Dark Horse” featuring Juicy J. Katy used a broom as a stripper pole and was surrounded by dancers, fire, and mystical objects.
Young singer, Hunter Hayes, sang his new song “Invisible”:
Keith Urban and Gary Clark Jr. performed “Cop Car”:
Robin Thicke and Chicago teamed up for a medley of both of their songs:
John Legend performed “All Of Me” and dedicated the song to his wife Christine Teigen:
Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons easily had the highest-energy performance of the night with “Radioactive”:
Pink showed off her master entertaining skills with Fun.’s Nate Ruess for two songs:
Daft Punk teamed up with Nile Rodgers, Pharrell, and Stevie Wonder for one of the more surprisingly great performances of the night:
Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr – former Beatles bandmates – teamed up for a very rare performance together. McCartney sang his latest single “Queenie Eye” while Starr played backup drums.
