In his latest promotional move, Ron Burgundy has released a new song with Robin Thicke titled “Ride Like The Wind.”
Although it’s arguably a duet, it’s Robin Thicke who’s doing the majority of the singing in the cover performance. Ron Burgundy spends most of the song chiming in with a couple of notes and plenty of comments about the lyrics. Listen below:
Burgundy eventually offers an instrumental solo using a wind instrument. Thicke then leaves and Burgundy is left alone in the studio.
“Ride Like The Wind” was initially written and recorded by Christopher Cross and debuted in February 1980 as the lead single for his self-titled album.

The Anchorman 2 soundtrack will be released December 17. A music video from Thicke and Burgundy for “Ride Like The Wind” is also in the works.
Meanwhile, the movie itself opens in theaters Wednesday, December 18.
