In a new Teen Wolf promo video for season 3B, Stiles is heavily featured, covered in blood and trying to convince himself, “This isn’t you.”
You can watch the entire video below, thanks to MTV.
The promo opens up with Stiles walking down a long hallway toward a door at the other end. The hallway is overgrown with trees in bloom, which makes it look both beautiful and haunting.
We get a couple of quick flashes of other characters, including Lydia, who looks like she’s unable to scream. She’s crying, but can’t seem to open her mouth as she reaches out for someone. Next, we see Allison, who is holding a dead wolf. Could this be a representation of Scott?
Stiles’ hands are bloody in the next snippet, and then we get a glimpse of Sheriff Stilinski. He says, “It was you,” but doesn’t quite seem to be himself. We also get some shots of someone signing, along with a notebook with the words “Wake up” written over and over again.
Stiles then opens a door with his bloody hands, and Scott is standing there. “This isn’t you,” Scott says pleadingly. Stiles pushes him aside and looks into a mirror, seeing himself covered in blood.
The promo switches over to our favorite tagline, “Lose your mind,” before going back to Stiles, who says, “It was you.”
Can we get a show of hands for anyone that got goosebumps while watching this?
It’s interesting to see what Stiles is going to be struggling with this season. In this promo it looks like he worried about becoming a monster, but seeing as he’s still human, we wonder what exactly it is that he fears. Is he afraid of becoming a werewolf? Is he afraid of going down a dark path like Allison did and possibly harming his friends?
Only time will tell, of course, and Teen Wolf season 3, part 2 is just a little over a month away. It will begin on January 6 at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
Why do you think Stiles is bloody in the latest ‘Teen Wolf’ promo video?
