Pop sensations Justin Bieber and One Direction are making millions of fans very happy this Monday.
Continuing his #MusicMondays campaign during which he releases a new song every week for ten in a row, Justin Bieber has dropped “PYD” featuring R. Kelly. It is the first song in his Music Monday collection to include an additional artist.
A slowburner, “PYD” is heavy on lyric repetition and talks about putting a girl down in a romantic way because she needs saving. “Because you deserve the best, and nothing but the best, so I’ll give you the best you’ve ever had,” Bieber sings into the hearts of his adoring fans.
Meanwhile, One Direction’s latest album Midnight Memories has leaked in advance of its November 25 release date. The songs were accidentally released on iTunes early, but have since been removed. The Deluxe Edition of the soundtrack features 18 songs and is available to pre-order for $14.99.
It’s possible that One Direction may release the album for online streaming on a service like iTunes or Amazon in the next couple days to stop the search for leaks. This promotional tactic has been used for several albums in recent weeks including Gaga’s ARTPOP and Katy Perry’s PRISM. We’ll be sure to share an official stream if/when it becomes available.
The lead single off Midnight Memories is “Story Of My Life.”
