Amy rocks Sheldon’s world in a new clip from The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 4, “The Raiders Minimization.”

The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 4 airs tomorrow night on CBS. The episode, titled “The Raiders Minimization,” focuses on a feud that develops between Sheldon and his yes-really girlfriend Amy after an attempt at bonding goes badly awry.

Check out how it all goes downhill in this new clip from “The Raiders Minimization.” (Spoiler alert: Raiders are involved.)

In the sneak peek, Amy is unimpressed by Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, which Sheldon screens for her. (Perhaps naively, she assumed that the bonding Sheldon intended was to be of a more, shall we say, physical nature.) Amy admits that the movie has serious story flaws, the very idea of which Sheldon finds hilarious.

Unfortunately for Sheldon (and for movie fans), Amy points out an issue with Raiders of the Lost Ark that leaves her boyfriend’s jaw dropped like a guy trying to out-drink Marion Ravenwood.

It looks like the issue is only going to escalate from that point onward in The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 4. The official episode summary for “The Raiders Minimization” says:

Sheldon seeks revenge after Amy ruins one of his favorite movies. Meanwhile, Leonard discovers a way to get Penny to do anything, and Raj and Stuart create online dating profiles.

Christine Baranski will reprise her role as Leonard’s terrifyingly scientific mother in “The Raiders Minimization,” and Kevin Sussman will return as the long-suffering comic book store owner Stewart.

Check out the episode promo and still photos from The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 4 for a better look at the madness that will follow Sheldon’s ill-fated viewing party… and a few shots of Raj and Stewart taking what looks like bizarre selfies.

The Big Bang Theory season 7, episode 4, “The Raiders Minimization” will air tomorrow night at 8:00 p.m. on CBS.

I don’t know about you guys, but I feel like Amy changed a lot since her first appearance. She used to be funny because she was as awkward as Sheldon, but now she’s just too “normal”. I wish she’d go back to how she was before.

    • ConnorF42

Wait, what? She use to be funny?
Joking aside, she is less awkward because her character has developed, she has friends, people she can feel comfortable around. Sheldon has changed a lot too.

Thats the point. its called character development. she has never in her life had friends and has always been a social outcast. finally having girl friends, a boyfriend and a place she belongs has evolved her character into the person she is now.

I think, if you compared s1 Sheldon to s7 Sheldon, you’d find some pretty glaring changes too. It’s not normal for a person to stay in a fixed state of being for 7 years. People change. Characters develop. And it’s as true for Amy as it is for Sheldon.

Yes Amy has changed a lot, but for the better. I find Amy even more hilarious now than when she was at the awkward stage. She’s just more comfortable now around her friends and of course, her bf Sheldon. In fact, all of the characters have changed if you want to compare from season 1, I’m not sure you’ve noticed. Heck, even Raj can talk to women now without the need of alcohol.
