The first images for Fury, the upcoming World War II film starring Brad Pitt, Logan Lerman, and Shia LaBeouf, have been released.
Fury stars Pitt, Lerman, and LaBeouf along with Jon Bernthal, Michael Peña, and Scott Eastwood in a World War II film from David Ayer (End of Watch). It’s set near the end of the war as the crew led by Pitt goes on a mission behind Nazi lines. It shouldn’t be expected that all of our co-stars will make it out alive.
This isn’t Pitt’s first foray into World War II, but we’d be shocked if he returns to his Inglorious Basterds ways and scalps Nazis. Who knows what his character will do, but odds are it won’t be that.
The new images come from writer and director David Ayer’s Twitter account. He is also releasing behind-the-scenes images periodically, so make sure to check his account out.

“Fury” is set at the very end of World War II, in April 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theater, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.
