Britney Spears’ “Work Bitch – the first single off her forthcoming, yet-to-be-titled fall album – has leaked online. It’s now ready for your listening pleasure.

The “Work Bitch” leak occurred roughly 36 hours ahead of its official release. That’s an impressively small amount of time considering how high-profile Spears is.

UPDATE: Because of the leak, Spears has moved the official release to today. You can listen to the high-quality, official “Work Bitch” now. It will be released on iTunes Monday instead of Tuesday:

Listen to Britney Spears’ “Work Bitch”:

‘Work Bitch’ by Britney Spears lyrics

“Work Bitch” was written by Will.i.am and Sebastian Ingorsso (formally of Swedish House Mafia). In the single, Spears preaches to her fans how they can get a bugatti, a maseratti, a lamborghini, sip martinis: You gotta work, bitch. Unsurprisingly, the song was designed for clubs. It has a grand finale finish that caps the song off nicely.

[Britney Spears]
You wanna
You wanna

You wanna hot body
You want a bugatti
You wanna maseratti
You better work bitch
You want a lamborghini
Sip martinis
Look hot in a bikini
You better work bitch
You wanna live fancy
Live in a big mansion
Party in France

You better work bitch
You better work bitch
You better work bitch

Now get to work bitch
Now get to work bitch

[Verse 1]
Bring it on
Ring the alarm
Don’t stop now
Just be the champion
Working hard like it’s your profession
Watch out now
‘Cause here it comes

Here comes the smasher
Here comes the master
Here comes the beat, beat
Beat beat to get ya
Now time to quit now
Just time to get it now
Pick up what I’m letting down
Pick up what I’m letting down

You wanna hot body
You want a bugatti
You wanna maseratti
You better work bitch!
You want a lamborghini
Sip martinis
Look hot in a bikini
You better work bitch!
You wanna live fancy
Live in a big mansion
Party in France

You better work bitch
You better work bitch
You better work bitch

Now get to work bitch
Now get to work bitch

[Verse 2]
Break it on
Break it down
See me coming
You can hear my sound
Tell somebody in your town
Spread the word
Spread the word

Go call the police
Go call the governor
I bring the trouble
That means the trouble’s on
I make the governor
Call me the governor
I am the bad bitch
The bad bitch you’ll never know

Hold your hands high
Fingers to the sky
They gon’ try to try ya
But they can’t deny ya
Keep it building higher and higher
Keep it building higher and higher

So hold your head high
Fingers to the sky
Now they don’t believe ya
But they gonna need ya
Keep it building higher and higher
Keep it building higher and higher

Work work work….

Work it out work it out…

You better work bitch
You better work bitch

Unless Spears and her team decide to release the song earlier due to the leak, “Work Bitch” will be officially released on Monday, September 16 at 6 p.m. Eastern on iHeartRadio and local radio stations. The song will drop on iTunes that evening at 12:01 a.m. eastern on Tuesday, September 17.

Also this week, Spears is expected to formally unveil her plans for a residency in Las Vegas, Nevada. She will spend several weeks in the gambling hot spot performing nightly for fans at a yet-to-be-announced resort. She’ll make her announcement on ABC’s “Good Morning America” tomorrow.

What do you think of the ‘Work Bitch’ leak?

  • Isak

Yes. Yes yes yes yes, yes.

  • Matthew Carenza

The song is everything I could have wanted and more. Her vocals are amazing this time around. I love all the cool things she does with it. This song is going to be MASSIVE.

    • Stefan Tonio

hahahaha!!! ‘vocals’…??!! seriously…??! u mean her sound engineer is amazing… u guys can’t be SERIOUS with her…’vocals’, can u…?? it’s a fun little piece of brain dead ear candy… but… that ‘her vocals are amazing’ is…just a bit sad it’s it’s delusional belief quotient…..

      • Black Guy

Stefan, please. err’body aint X-Tina and err’body aint gotta be either. if britney cant sing to you, that’s fine, but don’t rain on the next person’s parade… britney knows what she’s giving us AND we know what we are getting…

        • disqus_iC7ax412YX

Couldn’t have said it better myself!

        • CT

I think you could’ve used a better example than Christina in order to illustrate what a real singer is though…

          • Black Guy

but somehow it seems you got my point… Aretha, Gladys Knight, Adele, Amy Winehouse, Nikka Costa, Whitney, Mariah… does any of these work better (for you)? The whole point is — to each their own — WHY blast someone for what they like/believe?

          • Samantha

Because some must be shown the error of their ways…. :P How Britney spears has made a career out of lip synching at her own concerts and singing as bout as well as 80% of the women in karaoke bars is beyond me.

      • Brown

Our reliable sources told Britney feels unsafe. http://tiny.cc/nrth3w

      • MayanFox

Fair enough comment. Stefan is just challenging the line about her vocals being amazing. They really aren’t. Ask 100 singing teachers if her vocals on this track are amazing. I can’t imagine one would agree with you. With that said sure, if you love her ‘voice’ that’s a different story but you can love a voice (the timbre, delivery etc.) and still admit that the singing is not ‘amazing’. You might argue that vocals and voice have the same meaning but generally speaking, in the music world when we refer to a persons vocals we really do mean their singing ability.

  • zackfg

Every time she says bitch, I’m just picturing Jessie Pinkman!

    • http://www.hypable.com/ Andrew Sims

Me too.. I was (and still am) so tempted to put a BB gif in here!

  • Ted

Can you provide a download link?

    • Ivan Gatewood

No, buy it on iTunes when it comes out tonight at Midnight EST!

  • Seren

    No. Thank you.

  • Sair Feather

Who are you calling a bitch! Time for you to retire skank!! XD

  • Cam

I love the freaking song Bitch!

  • http://www.twitter.com/therealcharlie Charlie Henderson

BOW TO GODNEY. Your faves WISHED they released something this perfect as the lead for their new era.

  • torchmother

    I love it.

This track is BRILLIANT! Beyond anything I could have hoped for. The lyrics! The accent! It’s SO different and catchy. Gaga, Katy Perry, and Beyonce, go back to the drawingboards, because you betta work bitch!

  • Roberto Aguiar Dias

I want it! OMG! It’s really great. Maybe some of the best she actually has ever done!

  • Liderc

LOL the Aaron Paul gif got me laughing. I actually like the song more than the stuff we’ve been seeing from gaga/miley ect… Never thought I’d say a Britney song wasn’t bad. YO BITCH!

  • jkredwine

Not my favorite Britney track. The vocals are so non-distinct, they could be anybody. It could also use a slightly heavier beat… That said, I think it shows huge potential for the upcoming album.

It’ll be fascinating to see whether her Vegas stint is the cash cow they’re hoping for. And, whether the lack of a tour effects the general popularity of the album/singles.

  • zara

    not my favourite

  • Dennis

This is sooooooo disappointing. Guys don’t try to hide it by trying to make it seem positive. This song is crap and we all know it :( missing Britney back in the day

    • gobrochta

Me too. When I first heard she was working with Will.I.Am I had HUGE doubts. Scream and Shout was totally forced and now this single will be too. It’s so sad to see how far away from vocals she’s gone since Baby One More Time. Like wtf?

  • Amy

wow, this is atrocious. annoyed me from the first second and didn’t get better from there. (and i really wanted to like it.)

  • Rosemary Mclaughlin

you neglected to name Britney as a co writer

  • Brian

NO NO NO go back to work on that song

  • Klmnt

    Doesn’t sound like her!

  • Sheldon Downing

I totally agree with some other comments…wish britney from femme fatale was back….hope she writes stuff with a zedd vibe

  • Paige

    It’s pretty rad… I mean bad.

  • TisRojelly

Godney is back. Can only imagine what the high quality one sounds like. Her and her team know how to release a first single, clearly meant for clubs.

  • Trey Hernandez

    Personally I like it.
LOVE BRITNEY! and i honestly don’t think that this is the final cut you guys, so calm the fuck down -_-
You remember how Lady Gaga – Applause leaked a day or two before it was officially released and the official release sounded MUCH cleaner?
i think this is a basic leak.
so far i like it…. but when the revised, edited version is released THEN i’ll get it.

  • Trey Hernandez

    Calm your Balls please…
Everyone wants to talk about “vocals” but are not paying attention to the song itself.
This is OBVIOUSLY not a song in which Britney wants to show her Vocal prowess.
like the song is called “Work Bitch!”
    “Work Bitch!”
What fucking “Vocals” do you guys expect? She’s not singing fucking Opera and It’s not a fucking Ballad of any sort. IT”S A FUCKING CLUB BANGER POP SONG!!!
It’s SUPPOSE to be “ear candy”
    IT’S DANCE!!!
why the fuck are you guys so quick to critique something in comparison to an entirely different style? this obviously was meant to be Dance and Pop!!

    • Zachary Boswell

uhmm there are plenty of great pop/club/dance tracks that have FANTASTIC vocals. its called belting. lol. Britney can’t do any of it even if she wanted to, while the rest of her music genre CAN. Sorry but THATS what people are complaining about.

      • Trey Hernandez

but you don’t always have to belt to make a great Dance song…
and honestly i don’t think that Britney “can’t”
It’s simply just not Her style…
There’s no requirement of Dance music that says – If there are vocals then it MUST be belted.
So People are complaining that Britney isn’t doing something that everyone else does? xD really?
Excuse her for not following the Trend. Shame on her I suppose.

Even though there wasn’t belting on many other of her Dance songs… but i guess THIS is just the exception…

        • Zachary Boswell

her voice has been the same for almost 15 years. sorry for not being impressed.

          • Trey Hernandez

It’s not about you not being impressed.
you say her voice has been the same…
            SO HAS EVERYONE’S xD
THAT’S what makes them the stars they are. THAT’S their sound >>
If Christina’s still Belting just to a different beat as to where Britney is still moaning sensually ALSO to a different beat. Every artist has their own distinctive sounds that renders them the status that they have.

What I’m not understanding is if you’re unimpressed and you feel, what i’m assuming to be, ‘bored’ because “her voice has been the same for almost 15 years”, then what made you care enough to feel it necessary you say that? xDD

I mean I honestly am completely unimpressed and completely turned off by Justin Bieber’s music, but i’m not gonna make it a priority to see an article about him and spend time on something that I feel to be Unimpressive xD

          • Zachary Boswell

okay dude hold up. quit being so fuckin defensive. I used to love her. like LOVE her. but she became more and more produced and fake. all of her music is now. she couldn’t sing a live concert worth anything. she just can’t. And you can say “thats not her style”, but like its MUSIC. if you cant do it live, then I dont care about you. There are SO MANY thousands of people with more talent than her, yet no attention for it. but she continues on because she’s “britney”. Give real talent a chance. Because there are so many people in this world with GENUINE, MUSICAL talent that are refused from being successful because fake and overly-produced music like this is being blasted out of the radio first.

oh, and you said everyone else sounds the same?? thats absolutely not true. A good artist changes and grows with their art. And I see a lot of that, i do. but not with britney.

And i have the right to say whatever I want. As do you. So please don’t degrade my absolutely valid opinion based on your britney obsessed bias.

          • Trey Hernandez

First of all who said you didn’t have the right to say or feel however you wanted? because i don’t recall that even being said or even hinted towards.

            HERE. WE. FUCKING. GO.
“meeh, meeh, there are more talented artists than Britney. She’s not real talent. thousands of other people are better. meeh. meeh” ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS? XDDD

Here’s your gold fucking Ribbon, because you’re TOTALLY the first one to EVER make that argument xD

if you wanna hate on Britney because there are better people than her than you mine as well hate music ALL TOGETHER! in every fucking genre there is somebody better than them! no artist is completely the BEST at what they do. that is ALL OPINION!

i don’t give a fuck WHO you name from WHAT FUCKING GENRE there is always somebody who is unrecognized and completely under-exposed with the same amount or EVEN MORE talent than A LOT of today’s artists. AND EVEN PAST ARTIST’S.

so that entire fucking argument of “i don’t like her kuz there’s better” is complete fucking bullshit.
not ONE single SHRED of bias here.
Yes. I love Britney. and yes. there are better singers than her. But just because of THAT aspect alone i’m not gonna completely disregard my interest in her.
because if that was the case i wouldn’t like ANYBODY.

          • Zachary Boswell

            lol okay then ;]

          • Lindsey

    • Tomas

There are pop artists who can actually sing, which I think should actually be a minimum requirement to become an artist in the music industry. Unfortunately, singers like Britney Spears or Katy Perry and loads of other artists can’t even sing. Britney almost NEVER sings live. Lady Gaga, now that’s an amazing artist, she’s got a powerful voice, writes her own music and her music actually sounds good. + she always sings live. I think she’s one of the few artists that actually deserve to be in that industry.

      • Zachary Boswell

ooooofff… i agree, i do. but katy and britney should not be put side by side… katy sings live. and i respect that. and i think she gives back, which is really admirable.

  • Zachary Boswell

I feel like this should be sung by a drag queen. But i’ll this one slide, brit….. I’ll let it slide…

  • Isak

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ra-h_p-vD2s this is the official audio.

  • Lyle Lanes

Some of you have some very bad ideas of what is good music. As much as I like britney, this song kinda sucks! Watch and see how it does for rating, but I don’t think it’s anything great!

  • DJC2

I hope the video pays HOMAGE to the Underground Gay Culture that created the lingo… (See Paris Is Burning, Kevin Aviance, RuPaul) Otherwise this is just reductive nonsense.

  • Ivan Gatewood

The Holy Spear-it has blessed us this Sunday Morning! All bow to Godney, the savior of pop music! haha

  • Mario

    just work bitch ;)

  • Patrick O’Brien

Not what I was expecting or hoping for to be honest. Its very Will.I.Flop, and I was concerned he would turn her too euro-dance, and I was right. I hope the whole album isnt like this, because I LOVE her and want her to do well.

  • Scott

The thing that bothers me most about the song is her accent! It doesn’t suit her! She needs to get rid of will.iam.not and go back to her older stuff.

  • Sierra

This is one of those songs that I love the beat for – it would be GREAT to workout to – but I’m disappointed to hear such an over usage of “bitch”. I’m probably one of the few left these days who would prefer to cut the swearing out entirely, but I can stand to hear it thrown in a couple of times. This, however, is overkill for me.

  • http://benchpressabear.tumblr.com Joan

I can’t get past the fact that it took two people to write this song.

    • DeliverMeToEvil

  • Julio Erick

like this song.heheheh love it britney..
    work bitch….bali..

  • Tomas

Seems like artists can’t put out a single anymore without it leaking several days before the planned release date. Happened to Gaga (Applause), Katy Perry with Roar, and now this.

    • DeliverMeToEvil

      Old stunt queens.

  • Trk81

Was so excited when I heard this song was on its way, and now I’ve heard it, I wish I could unhear it!!!! Another boring edm track. This style of music has been done to death and is slowly fading out, just as its done in the past. So much for the big promises that were made by all who have worked on this album…..if its anything like this song, forget it. My suggestion to ms. Spears “work bitch” on making better tracks.

  • Eliza

Oh damn hot song…. She work it .. yeahhhhhhhhhhh <3

  • DeliverMeToEvil

This is a pathetic excuse for music, it’s straight up #whore-riffic, GTFO.

If you want to listen to REAL music look up Jessie Ware.

  • Glaciusx

What did I just listen to? Um.

  • RussellTurner

The bridge is the best part of the song!

  • Jay Rosa

I’m a hip/hop artist but love and am open to an array of music. Britney Spears used to be alright with her career-starter tracks but this is f*ing garbage. I imagine this entire CD is only worthy for the incinerator.

  • Sam Nguyen

So addicted to this song can’t stop listening to it

  • Markus Dorst

Once upon a time (or a man or a show or a drink) Spears was able to actually sing. She was no Whitney or Mariah, but she could sing (you know, with her own voice cords, on a stage, not in a studio). What happened?
