Apple’s iTunes is hosting a variety of sales on movie bundles for franchises like Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, and Spider-Man.

One of the best deals is for the Harry Potter complete set of films. All eight are available in one package for the low price of $9.99. In case you needed a reminder, the eight films are Sorcerer’s Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince, Deathly Hallows – Part 1, and Deathly Hallows – Part 2.

Meanwhile, The Lord of the Rings’ three-part story is available for the same price. The first Hobbit film is not included despite being set in the same world.

Other limited time offers: The Austin Powers Collection is $9.99. The Jurassic Park trilogy is $19.99. The Spider-Man trilogy is also $19.99. Star Trek 1 – 10 are $49.99.

You can see a complete list of limited-time offer movie bundles at this link which takes you to the iTunes store.

Will you purchase any of the bundles?

Apple does not say when the limited time offer will end, so act fast!

UPDATE: Readers are reporting that they are unable to purchase the Harry Potter set and/or the price displays higher than $9.99. Apple may’ve made a mistake in listing it so low and are in the process of changing it. Check your own iTunes to see if you can purchase for $9.99 before making a decision.

UPDATE 2: The price has been adjusted to $59.99. Those who grabbed it for $10 received a very special deal which appears to have been a mistake on iTunes’ part. The film series is currently #1 on iTunes Top Movies list which suggests it was legitimately $9.99 for many people in the early morning hours.

I tried to buy the Harry Potter bundle and the Lord of the Rings bundle and it said currently not available. Any one else having trouble?

    • Alison

Yep. They changed it back to $60. Jerks.

      • Alison

Although I did get LOTR for $17.99.

For me it still says $9.99.

        • Alison

        • Ginny777

It says 9.99 for me to, but when I clicked to buy it a message comes up to say it is currently unavailable and try again later…

    • SnatcherGirl

“This item is being modified. Please try again later.”
      Well, this sucks :(

  • Esmeblabbed

I don’t see the Harry Potter bundle or LOTR :(

  • http://hypable.com John Thrasher

LAME error message! This is what I get after I’ve clicked purchase.

    • Taylor Murphy

it’s doing that for the regular and HD version.. ughhh this was going to be christmas like 4 months early.. except better!

  • http://hypable.com John Thrasher

I wonder if the price was just marked wrong on these and they’re actually $19.99 or $29.99…none of the other bundles are nearly as cheap for less movies.

  • S.K.Hansen

On my Ipad it says $59.99 for the whole series. =( It was probably a fluke, someone forgot to put the 5 in front of the 9.99.

  • Blake

I was able to buy it for $9.99 earlier but it definitely is $59.99 now. They must have messed up and I got lucky :)

  • Bob

The prices are all higher now. You need to correct this article bob

  • Winkyxx

The deal has expired now :(

  • Jon Comeau

It’s not even showing up for me on the page now.

  • Maria Wang

Wow, what a deal.. I wouldn’t have bought it even for $9.99 though. They’ll take up way too much space on my hard drive. And besides, i’m still bent on completing my ultimate editions.

    • summoner2100

Could have still brought it for that price, because they would just sit in icloud under your account for download whenever you wanted

I was all excited and then I read the rest of the article.
