The new Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix back cover depicts Harry and several order members working together.
Scholastic is releasing new front and back covers for all seven Harry Potter books for release on August 27. Each of the back covers depicts Harry’s – you guessed it – backside as we view a scene from his point of view.
The Order of the Phoenix scene isn’t very detailed, but we think this one is from the Department of Mysteries. Even from the back, Harry is noticeably aged in this depiction. For example, his hair is much messier than his clean-cut look on the early books.
The new front side of Order of the Phoenix depicts Harry, Ron, and Hermione riding on thestrals nearby Hogwarts.
The new back covers are being released on a daily basis by Scholastic’s official Twitter account. Tuesday and Wednesday will see the release of the Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows back covers.

Last week, on Harry Potter’s July 31 birthday, the U.S. publisher unveiled the Deathly Hallows front cover at a birthday party held at their headquarters. In addition to the final book’s new cover, the box set art and spine art (depicting Hogwarts when all the books are lined up together) were released.
