Ahead of The Walking Dead season 3’s home entertainment release on DVD/Blu-ray, a deleted scene has been released that depicts Carol and Merle in a very honest moment.
In the scene, Carol (Melissa McBride) is showing Merle (Michael Rooker) a friendly gesture by bringing him some food. The supporting lady then admits in a candid moment that she thinks everyone underestimates her. It’s then that Carol tells Merle that he should never mess with anyone – including Daryl – or she will slit his throat while he sleeps.
The promise catches Merle off guard, and he’s rendered speechless other than a small chuckle. Watch below:
Carol unfortunately never had the opportunity to pull the attack on Merle. The latter character dies at the end of season 3 after he wasn’t able to win a fight against The Governor.
The Walking Dead season 3 on DVD/Blu-ray will be released August 27.
Meanwhile, The Walking Dead season 4 premieres on AMC on October 13.
Season 4, episode 1’s title is “30 Days Without an Accident,” suggesting that things will be peachy at the start of the season – but surely that will change within the first few minutes of our viewing. Watch an epic, extended trailer for the upcoming episodes in our previous story.
