Bloomsbury continues to unveil new Harry Potter covers for United Kingdom adult audiences. The Order of the Phoenix cover employs a purple theme and a stag.

This cover will be available on store shelves beginning August 15, while earlier books in the series are being rolled out even sooner.
Bloomsbury U.K. is re-releasing the Harry Potter covers to appeal to new readers, and these designs will very much stand out on book store shelves. Each cover released thus far has a vibrant color with bold fonts and simple artwork.
These new covers are not to be confused by the new covers being released in the United States at the end of August. Scholastic is using new designs by Kazu Kibuishi for their paperbacks to reach new generations of readers who haven’t discovered the Harry Potter series. It’s more important than ever to find ways to appeal to new readers because they no longer have releases of the Harry Potter movies to remind them of the books by J.K. Rowling.
On a related note: Scholastic is hosting a party for Harry Potter’s birthday on Wednesday, July 31 to reveal the cover for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The event is open to the public and this writer will be attending. We hope to see you there!
