The next few months look to be jam-packed with big budget blockbusters, and we couldn’t be more excited. However, here at Hypable, we want you to have the most well rounded movie-watching experience, so we made a list of some of the most promising Summer movies flying just below the radar. (We know, you’re welcome.)

1. ‘The Way Way Back’
Steve Carell, Sam Rockwell, Toni Collette, Maya Rudolph -do we need to keep going? No, but we will. Allison Janney, Rob Corddry, AnaSophia Robb, Amanda Peet, Jim Rash, and newcomer Liam James (Ok, We’ll stop now).This flick written directed by Nat Faxon and Jim Rash caught our attention, not only with its stellar ensemble cast, but the trailer shows us a glimpse of what looks to be a funny, heart-filled coming of age tale.

2. ‘Girl Most Likely’
Kristen Wiig follows up her starring turns in Bridesmaids and Friends with Kids in this piece from American Splendor directors Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini. The cast includes Annette Benning, Matt Dillon, and Darren Criss in his first big leap onto the big screen.

3. ‘Blue Jasmine’
Cate Blanchette is a Manhattan socialite who finds herself broke, dumped, and a little bit crazy in this dramedy from writer-director Woody Allen. This ensemble includes Alec Baldwin, Sally Hawkins, Bobby Cannavale, Peter Sarsgaard, Louis C.K. and yes, that was definitely Andrew Dice Clay. Woody Allen and Andrew Dice Clay? We’re in.

4. ‘Paranoia’
In the words of our very own Louie Schuth, “Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman? Hello!” This thriller from 21 director, Robert Luketic also stars Liam Hemsworth as a young corporate climber who gets caught between Ford and Oldman’s characters. From the trailer, we expect a dangerous power struggle will play out among a few twists and turns. It will also be interesting to see if Hemsworth can hold his own with Ford and Oldman.

5. ‘Machete Kills’
The end of summer brings the return of Robert Rodriguez’s “Machete” played by the entrancing Danny Trejo. This high octane follow-up features a hefty cast including Michelle Rodriguez, Sophia Vergara, Antonio Banderas, Jessica Alba, Lady Gaga, and Carlos Estevez (a.k.a Charlie Sheen).
