Nintendo has set itself up to a very high standard with their separate E3 2013 Nintendo Direct broadcast. Will they live up to expectations?
Watch the E3 2013 Nintendo Direct broadcast here.
With the Wii U well out of its launch, it’s safe to say that this year’s E3 2013 Nintendo Direct will concentrate on the games rather than the hardware.
This will come as a breath of fresh air who have watched both the Sony and Microsoft E3 2013 press conferences, where hardware and console specs was still a matter of discussion.
A few Mario titles are expected to be announced during this prerecorded E3 2013 Nintendo Direct.
There was a promise that we would see the latest installment in the Mario Kart series, this time for the Wii U. Also, it is hoped that a new 3D adventure Mario, ala Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario 64, will be revealed for the Wii U.
A new Metroid game would delight fans, as those first person shooter console games rarely fail to disappoint.
One of the major highlights of the livestream will be the Super Smash Bros. 4 footage that was promised to be shown. This will be the first footage of the game. It is hoped that whatever video is displayed of Super Smash Bros. 4 will reveal new characters not in any other previous Smash Bros. game.
Lastly, it wouldn’t be a Nintendo Direct without a little Pokémon. That’s exactly why Pokémon X and Y will have its very own Nintendo Direct broadcast tonight at 9 PM EST. It is not yet known whether or not that stream will be public; however, Hypable will cover all of the latest Pokémon news nonetheless.
Hypable’s coverage of all things E3 starts with the Xbox One Microsoft press conference, and continues on until the convention ends on Wednesday. Stay tuned to Hypable for all of the latest breaking news on all things E3 2013!
