“Cooler Than Me” singer Mike Posner is back with the first single off his forthcoming album, “The Way It Used To Be”!
The pop singer had runaway hits with his songs “Cooler Than Me” and “Please Don’t Go” back in the summer of 2010 but has been flying under the radar since then, writing and producing for other artists. Most notably, Posner had a hand in producing Justin Bieber’s hit single “Boyfriend.”
Now the singer is back with another song that could very well be another hit summer anthem! Posner’s latest track is the first single off his upcoming second studio album, Pages.
“The Way It Used To Be” features a catchy, yet soft pop-infused synth track that pairs nicely with Posner’s sultry whisper of a singing voice. On the track, Posner croons about the one that got away and reminisces about the good times with a love long gone.
Though his upcoming album, Pages, isn’t set to be released until later this fall, Posner will be keeping busy — as of right now, the singer is slated to open for Ke$ha on the singer’s Warrior tour starting at the beginning of August.
