It didn’t take long for the third of five new Catching Fire photos to be unlocked by fans this morning on Hunger Games Explorer.

Unfortunately, this photo is one we’d seen in a previous preview. Gale (Liam Hemsworth) is being apprehended by Peacekeepers after causing a scene. “The heart of a rebel,” Lionsgate’s caption reads.

The good news is that this is the first time we’ve seen the photo in this high-res quality. Click it for full size! Liam Hemsworth fans will love to make this pic their desktop backgrounds.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire - Gale photo

Leading up to the release of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire trailer at the MTV Movie Awards this Sunday, Lionsgate is releasing one new image each day from the film. We presume that these stills hint at what we can expect to see in the 2 1/2 minute-long trailer, which will be introduced by Hemsworth live at the awards.

On Wednesday we were given a photo of Katniss and Prim, and on Thursday we saw a photo of Katniss in an emotional state of mind.

There are two photos yet to be revealed. Fans can help unlock each photo by tweeting #HungerGamesExplorer each day. We’ll have to wait until Saturday and Sunday for the final two photos. Here’s hoping that the final two are entirely new looks.

Uh-oh… looks like someone forgot to dye Liam Hemsworth’s hair lol I really liked him with the darker hair in the first film. It contrasted Josh’s blonde hair, plus it makes the whole “Katniss and Gale are “cousins”" thing easier to pass. I mean, I guess not REALLY, cuz cousins don’t HAVE to look similar, plus Prim has blonde hair, but yeahhhh… STILL REALLY EXCITED THOUGH =D

maybe it just looks lighter because it’s in the direct sunlight

Doesn’t count, we’ve seen it before.
