Justin Bieber will pull double duty this week being the host and musical guest of Saturday Night Live. Check out this promo video with current cast member Kenan Thompson.

We hope Justin works on his cue card reading skills come Saturday! There were several times where you could see him reading the cue card above the camera. In the past, fans of Saturday Night Live have been disgruntled and annoyed when hosts like Lindsay Lohan look unprepared and unnatural as they read the cue cards verbatim rather than as a point of reference.

I guess we can give Justin a little slack since he’s not an actor and this is his first time officially hosting, right?

Justin is out promoting his brand new album Believe Acoustic, which has just been declared his 5th No.1 album in his young career by Billboard.

It was also just announced that Django Unchained actor Christoph Waltz will host Saturday Night Live the weekend before the Oscars with musical guest The Alabama Shakes.

We’re excited to see what kind of performance Justin Bieber brings to the hosting aspect of Saturday Night Live this week. We’re sure he’ll be bringing in tons of viewers and surely some classic sketches as well.

Will you be tuning in to Saturday Night Live this weekend when Justin Bieber is the host and musical guest?

eh, i dont care if they’re reading straight off the cue cards, as long as there’s some inflection in the voice. christopher walken read straight off those cards and yet here we are wanting more cow bell.
