What did you think about tonight’s episode of Once Upon a Time? Share your thoughts and watch the promo for “Tiny” here.

What did you think about the Doctor Frankenstein-centric episode “In the Name of the Brother”? Did you like Emma and Hook’s reunion scene? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Next up is “Tiny,” which sadly we have to wait a few weeks for. The episode airs February 10, but at least we can watch the promo now:

The episode description reads:

Kidnapped and brought to Storybrooke by Cora, the Giant (Jorge Garcia) unleashes his vengeance on the town when a case of mistaken identity leads him to try and settle an old score with David; Mr. Gold, accompanied by Emma and Henry, attempts to depart Storybrooke – hoping to keep his memory intact when he crosses the town line — and heads to the airport in search of his son Bae; and Greg (Ethan Embry) questions Belle as to what she saw on the night of his car accident. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was and against his brothers’ wishes, Anton, the Giant, climbs down the beanstalk and attempts to befriend some humans – whose intentions may not be so noble.

Are you looking forward to seeing Lost star Jorge Garcia back on Once Upon a Time? And what do you think about Greg?!

Don’t forget to listen to Hypable’s Once Upon a Time podcast Onceable, which releases episodes each week reacting to the newest chapter of the story.

And mostly what I took from this episode is that Belle murdered Chip. And Colin O’Donoghue still looks sexy all beat up.

I also really hope that Bae is Neal. What a reunion that will be for him and Emma, with the added awkward of Rumple’s presence.

    • jozefd14

there was less chest hair though when they were in the hospital lol

I’m pretty damn sure a ‘Neal is Bae’ plot is now a thing. They’ve just set things up for it perfectly.

  • sapph13

The episode was great! I didn’t see that twist at the end coming, I thought the stranger was telling the truth about texting while driving. Does this mean Emma lost her lie detection? I know a lot of people theorized that she lost it when she used the dream catcher now I’m starting to wonder….

Can’t wait to see next week’s episode; it sounds like David/Charming is going to be mistaken for his dead twin.

That power of hers seemed to be pretty wonky anyway and wasn’t really definitive. It seems to only be really working when it’s convenient for the writers.

    • nix

im pretty sure she knew he was lying there was a tone when she said being honest with me she justs wants everyone to feel better

As utterly PAINFUL as the Rumbelle part of the story was, I enjoyed other parts as well. Some of the dialogue was unexpectedly hilarious like when Emma and Snow found out about what all had happened while they were gone and bringing up the whole “Snow slept with Frankenstein” thing. Even the subtle line “We don’t want to keep you.” that Emma said made me chuckle.

Maybe it’s because I’m not a big Regina fan but I was getting incredibly bored with how things were going with her and Cora. I’m really disappointed that she’s falling into Cora’s lap after all that manipulation she’s been through. Also, the part with Cora and Rumple was incredibly creepy. I was so uncomfortable when they kissed.

I can’t even properly talk about how much pain the Rumbelle side of this whole thing made my heart hurt. But the end when Rumple came to Emma to call in her favor and he said “If any harm comes to Belle while I’m gone, I’m killing all of you.” I got cold chills, because I really believed he meant what he said.

Lastly, I want to say that I wasn’t expecting this Red Whale thing that seems to be going on. I hate to say that I’m finding myself shipping it a little bit, despite how long I’ve loved Red Cricket.

Oh, I agree. When she threw the cup, I freaked. This was an emotional episode, and I am so upset that we have to wait three weeks!

  • VideoKilledSeverusSnape

I find it interesting how Frankenstein’s story wasn’t in Henry’s book. And when Henry said something like “What other character’s from other lands are here?” that definitely means the curse touched other lands as well?
Also, on the globe type thing Rumple got from Regina, Manhattan was highlighted? So Bae is in Manhattan. I’m still hoping he isn’t Neal (I want Neal to be someone completely different) but I’m beginning to think he is now.

    • jozefd14

It could also suggest what Onceable podcast have questioned before is, who else did Regina bring along with her from the enchanted forest to Storybrooke…

    • Abi

I feel the same way, I don’t want Neal to be Bea. I don’t know why, I just think it would be a bit weird if he was and I like the idea that he is completely separate from the story world. Be that as it may, it does seem to be heading in that direction.. :(

      • Strumchick

I think Bae would have to be a little bit older than Neil.

    • http://twitter.com/notenoughpuff Sarah

Well it’s been set up that those who come over are from Storybooks, not necessarily fairytales. Regina brought over who she wanted to be there and I suppose that extends to other worlds. After all, the last we heard of Jefferson pre-curse, he was stuck in Wonderland. And considering he wasn’t reunited with Grace until after the curse was broken, one might assume he was still in Wonderland when the curse was enacted, but he was brought over because Regina wanted him to be there. As she did Whale.

    • Daughter of Eve

When we first learnt that Whale is Frankenstein I thought it was interesting how different literary characters are being included and not just fairytale. Now it seems like this distinction has been addressed. I just hope they don’t over complicate things by including characters like those from say Star Wars considering Disney has bought the former now.

Also, I’m with you, I don’t want Neal to be Bae, but it might just be. Esp since Henry and Emma are tagging along with Rumple. Also, this will ensure Rumple doesn’t kill the Swan family if something does happen to Belle.

got the globe of cora ….

  • http://twitter.com/CorbinBolies Corbin Bolies

I know they travel to New York soon, but was that the state that appeared on that globe-blood thing Cora gave Rumple? I’m from NY, and I know that’s not what my state looks like… It looked more like North Carolina or something.

    • http://twitter.com/clariclaudia13 Claudia Guinansaca

I thought the same thing (my fellow New Yorker), but my guess is that it didn’t highlight the whole state. It was probably just the general NYC area.

      • http://twitter.com/CorbinBolies Corbin Bolies

It looked more like the US in general:P I don’t know, we’ll have to wait to Manhattan to see Bae (Neal) again ;)

    • http://twitter.com/notenoughpuff Sarah

Yeah, I thought it was either North or South Carolina.

      • http://twitter.com/CorbinBolies Corbin Bolies

But since I think Bae is Neal, and I did rewatch the episode, I think it was Manhattan. Especially because I did see pictures online of them IN New York so this basically confirms it all. But I also did read about a chase scene between Emma and Neal, so I think this is what will happen: Neal will jump down from like the fire escape when he sees the trio, Emma realizes who he is, brings him to Rumple after he catches him, and Neal and Rumple recognize each other. That would be the perfect reunion in my opinion, and that’s why I can’t wait for “Manhattan”!

    • Allison Shannon

Also the first episode of the season was Neal in Manhattan getting that postcard.

  • http://www.facebook.com/kevin.landeen Kevin Landeen

Why? WHY THREE WEEKS????!!!!?!?! We just got back from a huge break, and now another break? How annoying. Great episode!

    • Ande Anderson

      My thoughts exactly.

    • Xehanorto

The break is due to filming, plus the Super Bowl which ABC is smart to not compete with…gotta give them time to catch up, be thankful we wren’t till Febuary for the resumption of the season/

      • Daughter of Eve

When is this super bowl thing? is it just the weekend shows that get pushed back or others too?

        • taylie

The Super bowl is Feb 3rd and the Pro Bowl is tomorrow, that’s probably why they pushed the show back two weeks

          • Daughter of Eve

Cheers, I don’t follow any Bowls. Can’t wait till OUAT is back.

  • Jacob

This episode truly reminded me why I love Once Upon a Time. The relationships grew stronger, they have now addressed one of the major questions of the show (What if new people came to Storybrooke? The other being, What the heck happened to Pinocchio?), and it really set up the next few episodes.

I really loved Frankenstein’s story, but I’m still confused as to where he’s from and why Rumpelstiltskin can go there. Once again, this was one of those episodes that threw me back to the first season where they tweaked a famous tale to make it different in it’s own way. The brother being Frankenstein’s monster was simply brilliant.

So pretty much, this made me realize that the second season, while it sort of droned on for the first half, what with Emma and Snow in the Enchanted Forest for FOREVER, it ended up giving us all these new dynamics with Cora and Regina and Henry, and Hook and Rumple, and…gah, I JUST LURV IT.

  • http://twitter.com/atalyce Alyce

This episode was mainly a filler, I mean, it could have been easily condensed to half the time it took. I suppose it was more character driven, but i’m not really interested in Whale/Dr.Frankenstein, so i found myself more interested in the little scenes around his plot.

  • http://twitter.com/StarkidSims Simone

Things I got from this (in no particular order):

    - THE CUUUPPPP!!! :( :( NOOO!!!!! Poor Rumbelle, I want them to be able to bring Belle back :(

    - So considering the kiss I guess the theories of Rumple and Cora having a past has some merit? Also I’m thinking the fact that Rumple’s blood activated that globe proves that Bae is definitely his legitimate child?

    - Cora is a creepy, stalkerish, manipulative, suck-uppy biatch (if you’ll excuse that language). I’m almost disappointed in Regina for getting sucked in. Cora couldn’t have sounded so fake, even if there are little truths mixed in her bull crap.

    - I LOVE Regina’s hideaway with the bits and pieces from FTL. I wonder how long exactly she’s been in there? Had she been eating conjured food?

    - Crap, from the promo it looks like evil ‘Gina is back. Looks like Cora having beat the others to Regina is gunna have a BAD effect.

  • Kennedy

So OUAT comes back after Chirstmas for two episodes then leaves me again for 3 weeks? What is this, glee?

  • Sarah

Here’s the thing. What Greg saw would have happened so quickly… I’m not sure I believe he would be so completely sure he saw something crazy. It would be much more likely for him to chalk it up to the stress of the accident. Unless he is a conspiracy theorist and thus already paranoid… I don’t know. This is such a weird development.

  • http://twitter.com/potterfan92 Raina

So does anybody thinks that Rumple is Regina’s father? I’m so torn on that theory.

  • charlton

I can’t believe Chip (the cup) was shattered, among other things.

  • :O

Geez you people need to open a book sometime, the state highlighted was South Carolina.

  • K8_8K

Another episode making me question what happened to Emma’s ability to tell when someone is lying. WTF?

  • http://twitter.com/CorbinBolies Corbin Bolies

Does anyone think Emma will be mad at Neal once they meet again? I mean, Neal DID turn her in, so I wonder how she will take that. But what also makes me wonder is: how will she react when she finds out that Neal is Bae (or hopefully is)? Will she be surprised or mad that he wasn’t honest with her. So many questions, hopefully all of them will be answered in “Manhattan”…

  • http://www.facebook.com/mewwolf Liz Jones

Does anyone else think the guy in the accident was actually Jack of Jack and Jill (possibly combined with Jack in the Beanstalk?) It would kind of make sense.. Jack is Him. Jill is Her. Maybe they somehow made it out of town and lost their memories when the curse was broken and that’s why he was drawn back to storybrooke. I’ve been pretty sure for a while Neil was Bae, it just connected things so well. It would account for August and him being friends too. Plus wouldn’t that be interesting to find out Henry is Gold’s grandson. It might even soften Gold up abit to know he has other family.
