A new Walking Dead promo has been released for the midseason return of season 3 with “The Suicide King.” Check it out to see a little more of what to expect when our favorite zombie thriller returns in February. Potential spoilers ahead.
While we know an eventual clash is coming between Rick’s group at the prison and the Governor in Woodbury, this new Walking Dead promo teases that the meeting may come sooner than later. We’ve been wondering whether the Governor’s story arc will go beyond season 3, because between the two sides, we’re hoping that Rick’s group will eventually overpower the group at Woodbury when the two come head to head.
Take a look at The Walking Dead promo to see how close the two communities are getting to each other.
We have a sinking feeling though that Andrea is going to end up being the one to bring the Governor to the prison (since we see her here in both places), and that will lead to unfortunate battle and most likely, loss of a few lives. Our guess is that it will either be Andrea or Merle who brings the Governor’s troops to the prison.
Carl will eventually make it to Woodbury, as we see him with Rick and Michonne facing the small town. He seems to be concerned for his dad’s well being, telling Rick that he should stop being the leader. What would drive Carl to advise his dad to step down?
In that brief scene, it looks like Woodbury has been decimated. What happened to the Governor’s town?
There is also an incredibly uncomfortable moment when teenage Beth plants a kiss on Rick’s cheek, which seems a little innocent at first, until we cut to Hershel yelling at Rick. Could something be going on between Beth and Rick? We know that there was a little unreciprocated attraction of Carl to Beth, but we hope that his dad isn’t moving in on the 16-year-old.
We still have so many questions to be answered, and this new Walking Dead promo just added many more.
