The first four minutes of the upcoming zombie romance Warm Bodies have been released online, giving an introduction to Nicholas Hoult as R.
Take a look at the preview below, via Fandango:
Set for a February 1, 2013 release date, Warm Bodies was written and directed by Jonathan Levine (50/50) from a novel by Isaac Marion, and is a funny new twist on a classic love story. After a zombie epidemic, R (a highly unusual zombie) encounters Julie (a human survivor), and rescues her from a zombie attack. Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies, and as the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival, R becomes increasingly more human – setting off an exciting, romantic, and often comical chain of events that begins to transform the other zombies and maybe even the whole lifeless world.
We wrote in our review of the film: “Warm Bodies [is a] fun zombie story with a love story that you’ll want to root for. Despite the odd premise (“Zombie boyfriend,” as described by one of Julie’s friends), the story is a compelling and believable one [that is] very fulfilling and heartwarming.”
Warm Bodies also stars John Malkovich as Julie’s father, Rob Corddry as R’s zombie friend M, Analeigh Tipton as Julie’s friend, and many more.
