CBS has released the promo for Monday’s How I Met Your Mother episode “The Over-Correction”!

In the episode, Robin is going to great lengths to break up Barney and Patrice. What’s that all about, anyway? Read the description:

ROBIN BECOMES OBSESSED WITH BREAKING UP BARNEY’S RELATIONSHIP WITH PATRICE, ON “HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER,” MONDAY, DEC. 10
CHEAT TWEET: Robin’s romantic life is stalled with Barney and Marshall’s mom is moving on romantically #HIMYM 12/10 @8PM ET/PT http://bit.ly/SvLewZ

“The Over-Correction” — Robin becomes increasingly suspicious of Barney’s relationship with Patrice. Meanwhile, Marshall discovers his mother is moving on in her romantic life… with a very disturbing partner, on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, Monday, Dec. 10 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

“The Over-Correction” airs Monday at 8/7c on CBS. The following week it’s time for How I Met Your Mother‘s first ever one-hour special episode, entitled “The Final Page.” It seems like the plot is really thickening on the Barney/Robin front, and we can’t help but think this is the time when they’re gonna get engaged!

Of course there’s still half a season left until the wedding, so a lot can happen in that time. Got any predictions to share with us?

The promo was posted online on SpoilerTV.

It’s so obvious that Barney is up to something. And that Patrice is in on it. He’s probably just running a final play to get Robin to admit that she loves him too. Especially considering that the episode title, ‘The final page’ probably refers back to his playbook.
