It’s less than 48 hours until the much anticipated Lemon-Cross wedding (that would not be a bad hyphenated last name, all things considered), where wedding bells will ring out across 3o Rockefeller Plaza. NBC has decided to commemorate this joyous occasion with a handful of photos from the season’s seventh episode, “Mozel Tov, Dummies”
Ever the tease, NBC didn’t release any photos depicting the classic hallmarks of weddings: white gowns, ring-bearers, pigeons exploding from eating uncooked rice. Of course, that could just mean that Liz and Criss are forgoing those traditional wedding ceremonies in favor of something far 30 Rock-ier.
Dean Winters appears, as previously promised, as the crappy ex-boyfriend model T-1000 Dennis Duffy. He is casually nursing a beer in what seems to be a marriage license facility (note the pregnant woman in a dress holding flowers stage left) with his girlfriend from last season’s St. Patrick’s Day episode.
Elsewhere Jenna and John-Hodgeman-with-a-mustache meet with Jack, Criss melts America’s hearts with his smile and Criss and Liz bond over a plastic bag filled with toilet paper.
According to NBC, “Liz and Criss have an encounter with Dennis Duffy that prompts them to take ‘drastic measures to start a family.’ Meanwhile, Jack (Alex Baldwin) and Jenna (Jane Krakowski) evaluate their own self-worth and Tracy (Tracy Morgan) deals with a ‘shocking’ medical diagnosis.”
The synopsis seems pretty busy for an episode that will already feature a wedding. The smart money is on Liz and Criss’s betrothal being a modest occasion, which still seems fitting for the couple who has turned lounging around a homemade coffee table in sweat pants an art.
