Watch a video preview for tonight’s Fringe episode “Five-Twenty-Ten,” featuring the return of Blair Brown as Nina Sharp.

This episode of Fringe will see Walter orchestrating his own Fringe event to distract the Observers – and it will manage to bring the team a lot closer to their objective!

In a new feature video from Fox, Blair Brown, Anna Torv (Olivia) and John Noble (Walter) preview the episode:

The video shows a few clips of Nina Sharp from the episode, and John Noble talks about her return as being “very welcome,” describing her as an iconic part of the show. Blair Brown previews that we’ll see how she fits into this new world, being a keeper of information that the team will need. Anna Torv talks about Olivia and Nina’s reunion, and we’re also told that we’ll be learning even more about William Bell.

“Now it gets more complicated,” Brown says, as Nina reveals more about Walter – both his good and bad sides. And Nina “has a major part to play in the final season,” according to Noble. We wonder what that could be!

Fringe 5×07 “Five-Twenty-Ten” airs tonight at 9/8c on Fox. Check out the promo and promotional images released from the episode right here on Hypable.

didn’t olivia basically lose her memories of nina as her adoptive mother??? i mean, i suppose there’s affection beyond just that, but…. i probably just need to watch season 4 again LOL

Yeah she did! But Nina still remembers that time, it’s only Olivia and Peter who remember the world we remember………. gah it’s confusing isn’t it?

too true, and olivia is not made of stone so nina’s affections toward her would not go unappreciated. plus, ya know, in those 3 years that they all lived happily notforever after, i bet nina and olivia formed a greater bond via baby etta (*gasp*cry*)

There is essentially a Nina Sharp for each timeline and for each universe! There was one Nina that was pretending that she had adopted Olivia and her sister Rachel and worked with David Robert Jones! Another that apparently had not adopted Olivia because her mother was still alive. So which Nina version is this 2036 version? I need a massive (a Massive Dynamics’) computer just to remember the probabilities and permutations of the various versions of Nina Sharp, let alone the different Peter and Walter Bishops, William Bells, Astros, Aphids or Astrids!
