Last night Anne Hathaway hosted Saturday Night Live with musical guest Rihanna! Check out some of the highlights from the episode including Rihanna’s performances, an Ellen DeGeneres spoof, and a Weekend Update parody of Barack Obama!

Check out the cold open featuring a dejected Mitt Romney and many different members of his family trying to console him!

The opening monologue was set to music (not a shocker, really) and featured Anne Hathaway singing a spoof song from Les Miserables with the entire cast joining her on stage. We consider this one of the better opening monologues of the season, but what did you think about it? Check out the video for yourself:

Girlfriends Talk Show – Anne Hathaway joins newcomers Aidy Bryant and Cecily Strong in a hilarious talk show with a jealous best friend.

Cast members Kenan Thompson and Taran Killam did a pre-taped sketch featuring a new viral dance move called the Mokiki. Not quite Gangnum Style but maybe it will catch on?

SNL even poked fun at the new show Homeland which was a hit with the Emmy Awards this year. Watch as Anne Hathaway spoofs Claire Danes’ character.

After Barack Obama won re-election this week in the United States, Jay Pharoah brought his spot-on impression to SNL‘s Weekend Update desk. Check it out!

Rihanna performed her hit single “Diamonds” with a somewhat interesting set. Using a green screen she and her band members performed while various images and videos appeared both behind them and on their clothing.

Rihanna came back with an upbeat ballad called “Stay” that will be on her upcoming album Unapologetic due out November 19. The studio version of the song features Mikky Ekko.

Tonight marked the third time that Anne Hathaway hosted Saturday Night Live. Do you think Hathaway did a great job? Let us know what you think in the comments below!

I don’t know if it’s my internet being problematic or if it is just taking a while, but the videos aren’t loading for me. They are just black boxes.

The opening monologue was the best! Especially that part where the person runs in with the flag hahaha, and the videos work for me so I don’t know why they don’t work for others..

Mexican flag :) and it’s not about the French Rev, it’s about the June Rebellion which happened in Paris over 30 years after the Rev.
