This past September Mumford and Sons released their new album titled Babel, which is currently number four on the iTunes Store Top Ten Albums. In support of it, they recently announced a series of new dates in the East Coast on their 2013 tour.

Starting February 5, Mumford and Sons will perform in Boston, New York, Virginia, and New Jersey. They announced the new dates on their official Facebook page on November 5, saying:

We’re very pleased to announce that the band are heading back for the East Coast of the USA in February 2013…

Tuesday 5th – TD Garden, Boston MA
Wednesday 6th – Barclays Center, New York NY
Wednesday 13th – Patriot Center, Fairfax VA
Saturday 16th – Susquehanna Bank Center, Camden NJ

Tickets for these went on sale this Friday, November 9 at 10 a.m. The band is currently in Los Angeles, California and will be traveling to the United Kingdom where they will tour for almost an entire month. There is about a two month gap between their last concert in London and their concert in Boston, so they will be taking a break in between. After their short time on the east coast, they will be returning to Europe for the rest of their tour.

I tried to get tickets to their Virginia show but all the tickets got bought up by scalpers in about an hour after they went on sale and they’re now selling for at least twice as much as they were originally. I’m really disappointed. :(

I was so mad by this!! I was on for the 10am general admission and there were no tickets sold and within 5 mins all the tickets were sold for the second show on Feb 14th with those tickets going on sale at 11am,but they didn’t announce that show till 10:50am. I was able to get 3 but needed 6.

Yay! I had no idea how lucky I was to buy 2 tickets to the Fairfax show right at 10AM through Ticketmaster. So excited.
