There’s no flagging in sight for The Big Bang Theory as Howard reconfigures his home life and Sheldon learns the ropes of romance in 6×07 “The Habitation Configuration.”
The Big Bang Theory delivered series-high ratings for “The Habitation Configuration,” which aired last night. The episode, which guest-starred Sheldon’s persistant frenemy Wil Wheaton and featured a cameo by LeVar Burton, was watched by a grand total of 16.54 million viewers, and once again made The Big Bang Theory the most-watched program of the night.
In “The Habitation Configuration,” Howard and Bernadette struggled with their betwixt-and-between living conditions. Though the newlyweds had officially moved into Bernadette’s apartment, Howard’s bedroom in his mother’s house remained suspiciously lived-in. Bernadette finally confronted Howard with her habitation frustration, and he agreed to clean out his old room and make Bernadette’s place his official address. However, a well-timed moment of nostalgia left Bernadette to backpedal on her previous determination… though Howard may need to consider just how much influence he wants his mother to have on his wife!
Meanwhile, Sheldon continued his attempt to educate the world on the joy of flags, and found himself (hopefully!) learning a few lessons about being a boyfriend and the dicey connotations of the words “Long Island.” He landed in hot water when Amy and now-friend Wil Wheaton experienced creative differences while filming “Fun With Flags,” and the emotionally-clueless Sheldon sided emphatically with Wheaton.
Always willing to share her worldly wisdom, Penny and her bartending skills interceded to set Sheldon straight. The tipsy Texan then embarked on a hilarious attempt to set Wheaton straight with old fashioned fisticuffs. Fortunately, beyond a few bruised feelings and sticky shrubbery, no one was seriously injured in the one-sided kerfuffle.
The Big Bang Theory will be back next week at 8 p.m. with “The 43 Peculiarity.” CBS says:
Howard and Raj try to get to the bottom of why Sheldon disappears every afternoon at 2:45. Meanwhile, Leonard and Penny deal with jealousy in their relationship.
