A new clip from this week’s episode of The Big Bang Theory has been released, featuring Howard reminiscing on his nutty childhood. Spoilers ahead!
A sneak peek from “The Habitation Configuration” has been released, adding further fuel to speculation that Howard’s relationship with his mother will (finally!) be successfully reconfigured. Check out the clip below!
Awkward as it is to admit, we’re suddenly seeing a different side of the colossally crazy Mrs. Wolowitz. Sure, she’s off her rocker, but after that glimpse of what it must have been like trying to raise Howard (every day is Epi-pen day!) it’s hard to blame her for being convinced that her shrimpy little boychick can’t take care of himself.
Still, it seems like Howard is determined to make his move – probably at long-suffering Bernadette’s insistence. Will the senior Mrs. Wolowitz take the news in her trademark voluble fashion? Or will “Ma” surprise us all (perhaps with a very friendly dentist as motivation) and give her blessing to Howard and Bernadette’s move forward?
Also of note in this clip is the fact that Sheldon seems to be missing from the “Help Howard Move” crew. While this isn’t entirely surprising – Dr. Cooper moving boxes for a non-PhD? – we do wonder exactly what kind of uncharacteristic shenanigans Sheldon might be getting into, while the rest of the gang tries to ease apart the magnetic bonds between Howard and his mother.
Thankfully, CBS’s official summary gives us a clue:
Wolowitz struggles with moving out of his mother’s house. Meanwhile, Sheldon is caught in the middle of an argument between Amy and Wil Wheaton.
Between fisticuffs, furniture, and La Forge, things are looking very interesting for The Big Bang Theory! Be sure to catch “The Habitation Configuration” this Thursday at 8 p.m. on CBS.
