Need more evidence that a Twilight Saga spin-off is being planned? Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, who wrote all five films, will happily oblige.

On her official Facebook page she created a poll asking, “If there were a spinoff book about any of the other vampire clans, who would you want it to be about?” The options are The Denali, The Amazon, The Egyptian, The Romanian, The American nomads, The European nomads, The Irish, and Nahuel.

The poll naturally fuels speculation over whether or not the studio is indeed working on a Twilight spin-off. Rosenberg would be the obvious first choice to write the project since she’s already so experienced with the franchise. Initial reports suggested the studio was considering a spin-off involving the Wolf Pack, but Rosenberg’s poll hints that the current idea being tossed around is one following a vampire clan.

Earlier this week lead Twilight star Rob Pattinson was asked about the spin-off rumors and said that he’d heard talk within the studio and wouldn’t rule out another Twilight role.

Meanwhile, the cast and crew are gearing up for a big Breaking Dawn – Part 2 promotional push. Rob Pattinson kicked off the fun by visiting Australia and hosting a fan Q&A yesterday (see photos). The film hits theaters November 16.

So she asked about a spinoff BOOK? That’s different from a spinoff movie… If it’s a book by Stephenie Meyer, I might not be so against it… If it’s just a movie, then hell no…

True but Rosenberg is the screenwriter, so she must have a movie in mind…

I would like to see a spinoff for Nahuel. It would also make me happy if they made a movie for the Bree Tanner Novella

I remember when eclipse came out and David slade tweeted about talking with stephenie meyer about a bree tanner film . I hope it eventually happens but I won’t see it if Xavier Samuel and Jodelle Ferland don’t reprise their roles.

    I don’t even want a spin-off. :/

No one wants a spin-off besides Lionsgate. It’s over, it’s done, let it rest in peace. Please.

    Haven’t we suffered enough?!

I honestly think they should just remake the series every few years, with completely different actors and crew members, and with different material focused on from the books. That would be a fascinating Hollywood experiment that would surely please LionsGate as well as (eventually) the fans. :)

theirs no “speculation” here…Every possible angle is going to be made and exploited that will further discredit the franchise, and do you know why? because Twilight is owned by a greedy ass american company who doesn’t know when to stop..(like all big film company’s)

    she said a book..not a movie

i think there should be a film on renesmee and jacobs lives but a new character comes in from the city that has a dad that is a decendent of a very powerful shapeshifter/werewolf, but doesn’t have enough blood in him to be a werewolf himself. His mom is also a decendent of another different powerful werewolf but doesn’t have enough blood in her to be a werewolf her self. They have a son together that has the blood combined in him, which allows him to be a werewolf. When this kid is about 6 years old, his parents die of an unknown death, causing the kid to be an orphan. He shortly after moves in with his grandma and, as he gets older, starts to get in between renesmee and jacob, and the love triangle starts all over again.sorry i wasn’t clear, his grandma lives in Forks
