The Voice will air five hours of live performances over three nights during election week.

Although The Voice will not air on election night – Tuesday, Nov. 6 – it will broadcast its first live shows of the season Nov. 5, 7 and 8, according to The Hollywood Reporter. With two hours each Nov. 5 and 7 and one hour on Nov. 8, that’s five hours of The Voice in one week!

For the second time this season, The Voice will go up against Fox’s X Factor, which broadcasts on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The first was during premiere week for both singing competitions.

NBC’s singing competition continues this week with the final battle rounds, whittling down Teams Adam, Blake, Cee Lo and Christina to just eight contestants. The newly established knockout rounds kick off Oct. 29 and 30, setting up the live performances, which will decide the Top 12 contestants of the season.

NBC has already ordered up two more seasons of The Voice, with Shakira and Usher stepping in as Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green take a break in season 4.

The Voice airs Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. This week’s Monday episode will be one hour long instead of two due to the final presidential debate starting at 9 p.m. ET.
