Breaking Dawn – Part 2 advanced ticket sale numbers are beginning to surface, and all signs point towards an opening that’s bigger than last November’s Part 1 film.
Sales are 87% higher than the penultimate film in the saga which saw Bella and Edward get married as well as the birth of Renesmee. Part 1 had made $626,000 by this point while Part 2 has already pulled in $1.17 million. What’s more, Summit’s Twilight Saga Marathons - which will screen all five Twilight films and let you see Part 2 two hours ahead of the midnight premiere – are a quarter of all tickets sold. Part 2‘s opening day total is already outpacing Part 1‘s three-day total, according to Deadline.

Earlier today Summit released the final Breaking Dawn – Part 2 poster which depicts Edward, Bella and Jacob, surrounded by coven members and wolves, heading towards the Volturi for what looks to be a fight. Also check out fifteen high-res stills released today! Last month, the final trailer for the film and the saga on a whole was released. We created this Twilight trailer retrospective to share our favorite moments from each film’s theatrical trailer.
Breaking Dawn – Part 2 will hit theaters November 16.
