Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson will grace the big screen for the second time with the recently announced animated film The Great Migration produced by CMI Entertainment. Benson will next be seen in the film Spring Breakers, which premieres in theaters on March 5, 2013.

The Great Migration will reunite Benson with Spring Breakers co-star Vanessa Hudgens. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, The Great Migration will star Benson, Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale of High School Musical fame, Big Rush stars Logan Henderson and Kendall Schmidt, as well as Kevin G. Schmidt from Cheaper by the Dozen.

Schmidt will also write and produce the film, saying in an interview to The Hollywood Reporter, “The film centers on a group of characters that encounter a mutated predator threatening to destroy the balance of their environment.”

The stars of the film are also expected to produce an original soundtrack for the film. Earlier this summer in an interview with Just Jared, Benson revealed that although she loves to sing, she would not want to produce her own album but rather would like to sing in a movie. Her role in the animated film seems to fit her needs perfectly.

Prior to playing Hanna Marin on Pretty Little Liars, Benson appeared in Days of Our Lives as Abby Deveraux and in ABC Family’s short-lived series Eastwick as Mia Torcoletti.

Are you excited to see Ashley Benson in her next two roles? What do you want to see her in next? Are you excited for the return of Pretty Little Liars on October 23 at 8 p.m. EST?
