After the amazingly successful Humble Indie Bundle 5 comes the next Indie Bundle, containing six games including dungeon-crawler Torchlight and award-winning platformer Dustforce.
The six games in this bundle are: Rochard, Shatter, Space Pirates and Zombies, Vessel, Torchlight, and, if you pay above the average, Dustforce.
Rochard is a 2D platformer with an emphasis on physics, Shatter is a new twist on classic brick-breaking games, Space Pirates and Zombies is a top-down space exploration and combat game with plenty of customisation, Vessel is a puzzle-platformer involving liquid-manipulation, Torchlight is a Diablo-style dungeon crawler with added pets, and Dustforce is a 2D platformer with over 50 levels of broom-sweeping goodness.
The same rules apply as with the previous Indie Bundle: soundtracks come with the games (except for Vessel) and, if you pay above $1, you’ll get Steam keys for each of the titles. When you purchase the Bundle, you can choose what proportion of your payment goes to charity relative to the developers. All games work on Windows, Mac and Linux and are DRM free.
Want to know more about what to expect from the Bundle? We recommend watching YouTuber Totalbiscuit’s take on Humble Indie Bundle 6:
86,000 Bundles have already been sold, with total revenues scraping $500,000 at the time of writing. You have 14 days to download the Bundle – we recommend buying it sooner rather than later if you want to buy Dustforce, because the average purchase price is likely to increase substantially over the next fortnight.
In a similar vein to the Humble Indie Bundle, IndieGameStand, a pay-what-you-want website that will sell a different indie game every four days, launches later this month.
