Wow! If there was any question about Glee stepping up the sex appeal this season, this performance video should put that to rest. Check out Lea Michele performing the Britney Spears song “Oops…I Did It Again” on this week’s episode of Glee.

The performance, provided by E! Online, shows a different arrangement of the Britney Spears song, “Oops…I Did It Again.” It’s clear that the scene was inspired by Fosse’s “Take Off With Us” scene from “All That Jazz.”

Unfortunately the video is unable to be embedded so,

I’m sorry I love Lea, but she is not a dancer. That whole thing felt so forced.

    • http://hypable.com John Thrasher

Remember she’s a freshman at NYADA…not Lea Michele the Broadway star!

      • rdh014

Still it was like “what is the most obviously sexy thing we can put into this dance” and then they did. Sexuality is about subtlety, especially on stage.

That’s probably how it’s supposed to be, though. For the performance on the show.

It seemed like everyone was dancing around her, and she was just being moved around most of the time or walking, actually. I don’t know if it’s so much Lea, but her character.

      • http://hypable.com John Thrasher

This is actually a Fosse style, not really Lea/Rachel/Glee

        • http://www.eigakanthemovietheater.blogspot.com Jenny Leigh

Well I dunno I would slightly disagree. The character Rachel has never been a dancer, and though I need to catch up on the show some, I would only assume that this is something she’s trying to cope with at NYADA?

    Hot dang.

  • guest02

    whoa..table stunts lol

Wow… I never realized Lea could be so sexy before. Can’t wait for this episode!

  • Merlin’s Beard

Does Brody really have chemistry with Rachel?
    Yes or no?!
    Compare to Finn.
    Better or not Better.
I don’t know: I’m a sucker for old relationships but..
    hmm.
*jaw drops*: Rachel (not Lea but the portrayal) has certainly grown up and is sexier than the last Brittany episode.

    • crbarra97

To be honest I don’t really think that Brody and Rachel have much chemistry like… at all. I can see them as being good friends but not really anything else.

Holy moly. Hello there season 4!

  • emmsolo

asides from the table stacking and sliding, which was pretty cool, this was essentially just vulgar thrusting and walking… disappointed.

  • bradlee scott

Meh. It was a great performance but I just feel like Rachel was trying too hard to be sexy.
