After a 10-second preview Wednesday and a 90-second preview yesterday, Yahoo! has now premiered The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2‘s final trailer.

The trailer is 2 minutes and 20 seconds in length. It includes roughly 50 seconds of additional video that was not seen in last night’s preview at the MTV Video Music Awards.

By watching you’ll see lots of Bella discovering her vampire abilities while Edward looks on in amazement. Additional scenes include Alice’s vision that the Volturi are coming for the Cullens, sweeping shots of the epic final (battle?) scene, and more. “I’ll never let anybody hurt you,” Bella promises to Renesmee.

Recently, fans have wondered if the final battle in the film will actually be a vision of Alice’s, meaning a fight does not actually happen. Readers know that in the Breaking Dawn book by Stephenie Meyer there is not a fight in the finale. The lack of a fight in the film would create an anti-climax, and that would likely hurt the film’s storytelling.

Sound off in the comments to let us know what you think of the final Twilight trailer!

    Still not enough Renesmee o_o

  • Ellen

Someone please refresh my memory (haven’t read Breaking Dawn in 4 years). In the confrontation with the Volturi at the end, is there snow? Or was that just added in with the battle scene? Thanks!

    • TeamBella76

They changed things up it’s a confrontation when Alice has that vision in the book. If Stephenie is ok with it I am too !

      • Zack

She wasn’t asking that, she wanted to know if there was snow on the ground.

Yes, I think it did say that there was SOME snow on the ground. But I didn’t picture it to be full out winter. I also pictured all of this happening at night too, so…

        • http://www.facebook.com/thecoolguy4ever Ahmed Tarek Saad

It was the first day the snow touched the ground.

    • Sheryl

There is snow in the final confrontation with the Volturi. That’s how they knew they were coming, when the snow finally laid on the ground they would come. However They didn’t fight them in the end….so that is made up to make the movie more exciting. Can’t wait to see it!!

      yes, there is snow

  • TeamBella76

    I loved it ! Can’t wait !

  • TeamBella76

The fight comes from Alice’s vision in the book and it’s in the trailer. People if Stephenie approved it and it adds something to the movie then it’s ok calm down !

    • http://twitter.com/ShelleBelleSki Rochelle Korolewski

Here here! the book was very anti-climactic so a real fight at the end truly would be better.

  • Gary65

Those last 10 secs are AWESOME!!!!

  • redhead312

I’m not a Twilight fan and I think the special effects look horrible but I will say it is a good trailer. The last few seconds with Bella kicking someone was awesome.

    • Tomas

I completely disagree. I think the special effects looked amazing, in this one, Eclipse and New Moon. You’ve got the beatiful wolves and the vampire running and hunting, etc… i think even non Twilight fans will enjoy this film.

All I remember from the end was that native american guy they got to vouch for them. He did not seem to care what was going on and I think he was late for work. I loved that guy.

This looks like it could be the best film of the series! I really appreciated Edward’s line about underestimating Bella – that was something I thought was missing from the books. I’m so relieved to see a (pretty epic) battle happening, too!

  • Me

    Holy crap. Water bending POWER.

  • http://twitter.com/emilyecstasyTM Emily Bryan

Oh man, this got me real excited!

  • Jordan

    This look awful!

  • Raye

Every breaking dawn part 2 trailer looks like a rock star music video. It must be the voultouri. They look like British Rockers.

    this got me real excited!

  • Raye

Oh, and to the fans who didn’t want a fight, A violent climax in the movie is VERY needed. This is Hollywood, and I’m sorry, People will lose interest if they don’t feel satisfied about the ending, and a “Battle of Mind” would just be disappointing for non-movie watchers.
Oh, and people need to get hurt, good vampires and werewolves, or they wouldn’t have a risk, and people would be more prone to say “Eh, the good guy wins, we don’t need to see this”.
If it was me, I would personally put Seth Clearwater close to death. He’s a lovable character, and non-readers would be at the edge of their seats- they would obviously know who wins, but they would be asking their neighbors “Ok, does the adorable werewolf get it? Does he survive? TELL ME!” And it keeps their heartstrings a-twanging for the movie. (I haven’t read the last book, is Boo Boo Seth in the last battle? He should be)
OH, and inconvenience is very emotional. I hope we-who-didn’t-read-the-book-but-talked-to-a-billion-people-who-did are surprised, and leave the theater without getting the movie out of our head because we were so emotionally invested in the characters
(Wow. this is a long post. My apologies)
(And this is just my opinion. apologies)

    • Louis

I agree. And it would be nice to kill-off a few adorable characters here and there. The fight is something new the fans can watch.

      • Raye

Yeah. And you don’t even have to KILL them, kill them. Just get pretty darn close so we care! That’s why I left the Eclipse with wide eyes. I don’t usually care as much, but “Jacob almost DIED! He had his bones broken AGAIN! Whoooa, dude.” and it bothered me for the whole next day. . . and I wouldn’t even call myself a fan!

  • Dana

    book end scene:
so everyone all good now right? wanna go play some baseball
    movie end scene:
    DIE BITCH!!!!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!

  • Typhanie

    YAY! Lee Pace has Lines!!!

I love the part where edward pulls bella around to kick some major butt :)))

    • http://www.facebook.com/debra.berentsen Debra Berentsen

  • Bob

Wow, is Bella actually going to man up and fight in this one?

    • Don

Well duh, she’s a vampire now. She was only a human in the other movies, not exactly equip to kick vampires.

      • TayTay123

She didn’t seem equip to do much of anything….

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1045615098 Riana-Tiana Menezes

I feel like I don’t even need to watch the movie now. The trailer gives the plot away.
Well, atleast I can save some $$ to see The Hobbit in IMAX. yay me

  • Tomas

Wow… EVEN beyond my expectations… I’ve looked forward to this a long, long time, and it will be an epic, and amazing and VERY emotional finale! Even twilight haters can’t get around the fact this looks amazing and epic. I don’t want this to be the last one, but it’s going to be one hell of a finale! Bella kicking some animal and vampire asses!

    • Guest

How about not trying to speak for the antis when you know nothing about what they think. It was unimpressive and dull.

  • Andrew_ww

Looks like it could be the good film in the series.

  • Hpbrocster

In the final battle, is it Garrett that Kate is shocking the piss out of while he holds her from behind? If so, why is he grabbing her and why is she shocking him? They were allies..

    • Hpbrocster

      It’s at 1:59

      • Steph

He was restraining her from attacking the Volturi after Caius killed Irina for “lying” to them about the immortal child. He didn’t want her to die, too. When he came in contact with her, she shocked him. They’re allies. :)

  • http://twitter.com/aadnama Amanda Douglas

That last move with Edward pulling Bella into that kick was badass!

I said this in the last post, but whether the battle is just a vision or not, at least we see a battle.

  • Torrie

Bella fly-tackling a mountain lion is a bit ridiculous. But, other than the vampire flight moments I think it looks pretty great. Really glad that they seem to have put a battle scene in there.

  • Guene

I can’t wait to see the last movie, it looks great, I know they changed the ending so that will be interesting to see what they did :O)
