Following yesterday’s news about Snow and Lancelot’s past, we now have an image of Sinqua Walls as he’ll be appearing in Once Upon a Time‘s second season!

Lancelot Once Upon a Time Sinqua Walls

EW has this exclusive first look image, showing Teen Wolf‘s Walls as Lancelot, in full knight gear.

It turns out the Arthurian figure will not only be showing up in fairytale land, but will also have a “complicated” past with Snow White, which not even Charming knows about!

We can’t wait to see how this character fits into the story, and whether we can expect more characters from the story of King Arthur – Merlin or Guinevere, perhaps?

It will also be interesting to see whether Snow and Lancelot had a deeper connection than simply a shared experience. Just because Charming is her true love doesn’t mean she couldn’t have had another romantic interest in the past, after all, and if Lancelot does resurface in Storybrooke (as his three-episode arc seems to indicate), we’d say there’s a pretty good chance that he will!

Are you looking forward to seeing Lancelot in season 2? And what do you think about the fact that Once is mixing traditional fairytales with more established myths like King Arthur and Mulan?

Once Upon a Time returns on September 30 at 8 p.m. on ABC!

Alright. Combining Disney/fairy tales with Arthurian Legend? These people are genius. I had a major fangirl moment.
