Continuing his recent slew of Glee Twitter tidbits, Ryan Murphy has just released an image of Darren Criss as Blaine, in a full lycra-tight superhero Robin costume. An upcoming Halloween episode, perhaps? But of course, our thoughts jumped instantly to StarKid’s Holy Musical B@man!, where Darren’s good friend Nick Lang recently portrayed the Boy Wonder – sans tights. So we ask you – who wore it better?

Darren looks more attractive, but Nick looks more hilarious. I think if Darren were to do his own portrayal of Holy Musical Batman’s version of Robin, I would like Nick’s portrayal better though.

As much as I love Darren, I’m going to have to go with Nick – he was great as Robin, and the costume was hilarious. I love the fact that you wrote an article about this :P

I appreciate this article so much! Darren’s looks more dapper and clean cut, while Nick’s has more bling. Knowing Nick’s Robin portayal in HMB…I have to pick him! (But they’re both adorable, of course. :D)

I must say, I think that only Nick could pull off his flamboyant version of Robin. Darren DOES rock that costume, though!

Sorry, Glee wardrobe department, but Nick really did get the more fun & practical costume – everyone knows pants decrease crime fighting capability by 20%, which is something Robin truly cannot afford. Also, wtf cat ears?

To be honest I like Starkid’s costume way more… and I would think that’s saying something but maybe Glee doesn’t want it to look great.

  ……. this comment makes literally no sense and it is laughable to me that anyone who has ever read anything I’ve written or had the least bit of exposure to me could ever put the phrase “anti-Darren” anywhere associated with me. We don’t know if he’s Robin, but he’s wearing the colour scheme exactly and it was just a fun post. No one knows what the hell the deal is with the cat ears (or the bow tie), maybe it is a Robin-like super hero Blaine is meant to have made up. Whatever. Your comment is ridic.

  It’s not that far of a jump to make, considering the color scheme &, um, every piece of the costume. Yes, it might just be a rip-off-y costume of another random super hero, but this is just a fun post. & technically, not loving his costume (I mean, let’s face it, it looks a bit of a cop-out compared to Nick’s), says more about Glee’s & StarKid’s respective wardrobe designers/departments than the actors portraying the characters. & As Darren’s a StarKid anyway, he wins either way… :P
