Recently, a financial company released an image detailing how much it would cost to actually be Batman in The Dark Knight Rises. With Iron Man 3 on the way, they’ve released a similar image for Iron Man – tallying up how much it would cost to be Tony Stark’s mechanical masterpiece. Check out which superhero would set your bank account back the most.

So for those of you without a calculator or who are still looking in their couches for some loose change, it cost Tony Stark $930,266,250 more to be Iron Man than it does for Bruce Wayne to be Batman. Looks like Bruce Wayne should step his game up, or at least go see Mr. Fox about improving his stock portfolio.

Although, the majority of Iron Man’s costs come from the many different renditions of his armor. With only his latest suit accounted for, Tony Stark drops down to needing a paltry $648,717,000 to achieve his life of metallic-luxury. Where as Bruce Wayne’s home is his most expensive toy, coming in at a mind-boggling $600,000,000 after being rebuilt with slight modifications under the southeast corner…ahem…Batcave.

So, any billionaire playboys (or girls) be sure to let us know when you have your superhero suits and mansions built (or just give us your pin numbers).

Let us know what you think about Batman and Iron Man’s superhero costs in the comments.

This is all so amazing. However, I bought 2 Batarang throwing stars for $20, so they might need to adjust that!

    • http://www.hypable.com/ Joshua Nealey

Yes, but were they made of weapons-grade plutonium?

      • http://twitter.com/PabloRV7 Pablo Ruiz V

I don’t think carrying plutonium in your belt is a good idea. Still, Batman wins. Less money, way cooler.

I thought everyone knew that Batman was impervious to radiation poisoning since he got bitten by that radioactive spider while talking to his girlfriend Gwen Stacy on his home planet Krypton.

  • Oscar

Well… it’s to be expected that Iron Man’s going to be more expensive than Batman. I mean, the suit alone should be enough to cancel out Batman’s costs. Still, this is a REALLY good advertising campaign. Kudos to MoneySupermarket.com

  • Azeem

But Batman is way cooler than Iron Man- because he’s BATMAN!

    • mclovin

iron man is by far better than batman, batman relies on gadgets that would hardly even scratch tony’s armor, plus tony stark is cool enough to just say that hes iron man, and doesn’t hide in a mask, playing around with a little boy in tights.

      • xantheus13

this is the movie versions…so no, no Robin here….

      • Miles Morales

Batman has a gadget that could turn off Tony’s whole suit.

    • Miles Morales

Yes but I agree with this article…wait…THEY DIDN’T INCLUDE BATMAN’S LAMBHORGINI, Etc.!!!! This is a CRIME!

  • http://twitter.com/NatashaPeartree Natasha Pereira

    hahahaha, this is so great

I’d like to see a comparison of their comic book versions.

  • notenoughpuff

It’s a good thing Tony Stark makes more money than Bruce Wayne.

    • Miles Morales

Batman has suits like Iron-Man’s now in New 52.

      • Miles Morales

And he’s supplied almost EVERY member of Batman Inc. (Talking people ALL OVER THE WORLD) with them, so….

  • Ultron

    They forgot Stark Tower.

    • Lolzzzzz

They also forgot the Wayne Enterprises Tower

    Love this.

  • HarryHungerAvatar12

Those two are my favorite superhero’s!!! But Batman/Bryce Wayne is way better the Iron Man/Tony Stark

    • Jason Keller

Disaggree, and ive never heard of Bryce Wayne but im pretty Sure Tony Stark kicks his ass.

      • Hgyg

Never heard of Bruce Wayne??? I don’t think you have enough knowledge to make this judgement at all!

        • Annoying French Guy

Please, read again the 2 previous comments…Our friend Jason Keller was making a joke about HarryHungerAvatar12′s spelling mistake.

          Thank you

        • Miles Morales

          Ooooo! Kill em’!

  • Guest

And that’s totally chump change for both of them! xD

  • http://www.facebook.com/jorge.mad1 Jorge Mad

you forgot the girlfriends.that’s a HUGE difference in your stats

  • http://www.facebook.com/nikolausaldrich Nick Aldrich

  • Makaveli

Batman is Way cooler than that whiny little prick named Tony stark

    • guest

yeah, but did the batman build an armored suit out of stolen weapons AND create a miniature version of the power source his father made, all while in a cave in the middle of nowhere, with steel fragments near his heart and kicked his captor’s ass when he was busting out with said armored suit?

  • AlfredJarvus

There’s no way the bat suit, without the graphite cowl, costs less than 60 thousand dollars.

  • Lexi89

They have training/education for Batman, but not Ironman. Do they think he can make all of his technology and be such a great businessman with only a high school diploma? lol. They also put butler’s salary for Batman, but apparently Ironman doesn’t pay anybody to run his house or is it included in the $25 mil?

    • Lexi89

Also, they include Tony Stark’s cars, but none of Bruce Wayne’s regular cars

  • Olizero

It does not make sense, Batman has N quantity of armors, N quantity of Batmobiles, and he does not obtain arms from Wayne Enterprises, he has his own secret development and production department.

    • couic

looks like he has one actual batmobile (blown up in TDK) and 3 (or was it 4 ???) armored cars like the one that has been turned into the batmobile.

of course this only concerns the Nolan trilogy Batman

  • Riki

    you missed the honda nsx

  • http://twitter.com/bsportspinas JCR

Batman [Bale version] : talks less but no nonsense.
Stark [Downey Jr. version] ; talks too much. some of it nonsense.
    * I haven’t read or saw the Stark in the comics so I do not know if it is the same in the comics.

  • http://twitter.com/CouldntGiveA Tom Moreton

    What about stark tower?

  • hottoys

mark V and Vii being the most expensive armor and the difference was huge between other armors . how come?

  • xantheus13

so you include the cars stark drives, but not the vehicles Bruce Wayne drives/owns…bit biased….

  • Miles Morales

Iron-Man is over-powered. Batman actually sometimes has to rely on HIMSELF. (And he stops petty crimes, which Iron-Man is too “rich and fancy” to do.

  • Miles Morales

Batman makes suits like Iron-Man’s in New 52 and supplies most of Batman Inc. (talking people ALL OVER THE WORLD) with them. Conversation over.

  • Oliver Queen

You guys should calculate my assets too… I think I am at least on top three of the billionaire superheroes list.

  • Oliver Queen

Yeap #3, my grand total of assets are above Mr. Fantastic, Reed Richards

  • Sam

Batman is spoiled, because all his money is from his dad. His a spoiled bastard. All of tony’s money are from hard work. So I say, tony stark is better.
