Many sources have now confirmed that Jessica Biel has been cast as Victoria/Viper in The Wolverine.
Hugh Jackman will now be joined by Jessica Biel, seen most recently in Stealth, The A-Team, Blade: Trinity and this month’s Total Recall. She’ll be playing the role of Victoria, also known as Viper. This character was a big part of the criminal organization Hydra (Captain America villains) and also played a role in blackmailling Wolverine into marrying her at one point. Although, it’s being reported that this could be an entirely new character, as there are three Viper characters in the Marvel universe.
The Wolverine is headed to theaters July 26th, 2013.
