Though what exactly is going to happen with each character in season 4 is still a bit ambiguous, reports are that all of the 15 main cast members are returning with Chord Overstreet in talks to become a series regular.

Deadline is reporting the news:

…Ryan Murphy extended an open invitation to all 15 regulars to return for Season 4. It appears that virtually all accepted it and are set to come back, though not everyone will be in every episode.

Lea Michele and Cory Monteith are slated to appear in most (if not all) episodes of season 4.

What are your thoughts about Sam sticking around full time for season 4?

well, third season’s the charm it looks like.

Yay. Now bring Mark Salling and Dianna Agron back full time and we got a show.

  • Terr

If Lea and Cory are set to appear in majority of episodes, then how is following both their stories and the stories of the Glee club so revolutionary or unique as Murphy and the stars all claimed season four would be? Yet another lie from Murphy!

Didnt ryan murphy say that they would be writing for the smallest cast ever in season 4? Now it looks like its going to be the biggest yet.

I love the cast but I would rather see some of them go or come in once or twice a season than have season 4 be the show’s last because of the mess it seems this will inevitably become

Okay, so please answer me this, if they are having all 15 back plus 3 new ones and a glee project winner, 2 storylines confirmed in new york and likely another with santana, finn in the army, all the kids in glee, puck in LA with mercedes, mike at dance school, quinn at yale- HOW ON EARTH IS THIS GONNA WORK!!???- are they gonna like specd every episode on a different character- if so then its not really gonna be about a glee club anymore therefore the premise is gone… im very curious- this is either gonna be the character and story breakthrough the show needs or its demise…

OK, I might get shot down for saying this, but I feel like storytelling-wise, Glee should have ended this season. Don’t get me wrong, I am a fan of the show, but I’m also a sucker for a good story arc and ending. I feel like seeing the Glee club start off as nothing in the first season and then slowly make their way up to the top at the end of this season was the whole premise of the show. All of this new stuff is a new chapter of these characters’ lives and I don’t think it fits with the original idea.

I agree 100%. I think in autumn, it’s going to feel like a whole different show despite all the characters staying.

    HOT MESS

Oh Hypable. I feel like you’re new to this whole Glee summer break thing. Basically don’t report anything that Ryan Murphy says as a fact. Because it’s extremely likely that whatever he is saying is a lie. And whatever he says will happen, won’t.

I have love/hate relationship with Glee. I think it should be cancelled. Only good season was the first one, few eps of second and TWO of the third.

I’m still mystified by people who “hate” Glee, think “it should be canceled,” call it a “hot mess,” say it “should have ended this season,” construe everything Ryan Murphy says as lies, etc., yet read about Glee and write comments about it. If you hate or at least dislike Glee, why haven’t you moved on? Are you a masochist?

That’s not to say fans of the show can’t also criticize it, as I do. But these are people who are not fans and wish it were canceled. Kind of pathetic, when you think about it.

I feel your pain. I can’t stand shows like Real Housewives of Whatever or America’s Next Wannabe Model. So I don’t watch them, don’t read about them and don’t rant about them in comments sections. I ignore them. Try it.

I have a great solution to people who don’t like Glee anymore……….stop watching it.

  • Tyrone

Chord had better become a series regular. He certainly has been a part of Glee long enough. Far overdue!

But why in the world are Lea and Cory going to be in the majority of the episodes? I get that those two started off as the “bread and butter” of the show, but really? I can see showcasing the now graduated characters every now and then so we know where they are at in the new chapters in all of their lives; however, the show should essentially be about the club itself. Guess we’ll have to wait and see how well this works out.

I want Grant and Vanessa. Glee needs Sugar and Sebastian

  • Alexandre Honoratom

    I want SUGAR!

  • Tommccabe

He should definitely be in season 4.  He’s more than earned his place as a regular.  Just send the McKinley graduates off into the sunset and reset Glee to it’s proper premise, that of a high school glee club.
