Naughty Dog’s anticipated post-apocalyptic action game The Last of Us will not be released in 2012.

Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida spilled the news when pressed by VG24/7 on the company’s plans for 2013.

“We are not ready to talk about 2013,” said Yoshida. “But some of the games we showed like God of War and The Last of Us are not coming out this year.”

With this delay, Sony’s end of the year offerings are looking pretty slim with only PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale and LittleBigPlanet Karting as the major PlayStation 3 exclusives.

Well great, only two more new games coming out this year I’ll be getting, unless they bump back Hitman and AC3!  That really bums me out.
