The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Evanna Lynch has joined the cast of Monster Butler – a film based on the true story of Roy Fontaine, a bisexual jewel thief/con man/serial killer. Filming begins in Scotland this week.

“Lynch will play Fiona Carrick-Smith, who is intrigued by her upper class family’s new and seemingly all-knowing butler. Seeing him as an older, wiser confidant, she confesses her misgivings for her upcoming marriage and her longing for dangerous excitement. She soon acts on her desired with butler [sic], acts of reckless behaviour that lead to betrayal and tragedy.”

It’s true. Hollywood Reporter confirmed it, and Evanna said last week that she was going to Scotland.

It’s great to see Evanna cast in a completely different kind of film to Harry Potter. After all, she’s a fantastic actress and it’s good she’s on her way to getting out of the pigeon hole of only being associated with HP.
