The first trailer for Disney’s upcoming video game themed feature has been released, giving us some brilliant scenes with classic gaming villains!

The trailer was released by MSN, and stars John C. Reilly and and Glee‘s Jane Lynch. In one of the earlier scenes, we see cameos from Bowser, Dr. Robotnik, the Pac-Man ghosts and loads of others. Check out the video below!

Wreck-It-Ralph will be released on November 2. The synopsis reads as follows:

An 8-bit video-game character attempts to shed his bad-guy image by escaping into a popular first-person shooter, but inadvertently wreaks havoc in the video-game universe by freeing a digital villain.

Has this trailer built up your anticipation for the Disney film?

I loved it!  Looks great!  My favorite is seeing the Bowser cameo!  Looks like this will be a lot of fun! :)

BOWSER!!! Hahaha! It’s an awesome idea, let’s hope the movie lives up to it!

Wow… wow… wow… I’m just lost for words here. I’m so excited. I don’t think I’ve been this excited for a movie in ages. The Bowser, Eggman, Ghost etc. cameos were good enough, but then… all the little details. That music at the beginning just has the feel of the underground theme from Mario, and it all just feels very true to the idea and base of games.

I got to see a test screening of Wreck-It Ralph. It was amazing! The trailer definitely captures the cool, nostalgic film the entire film has. Be prepared to geek out come November!

I did a podcast review of it. Just google “Wreck-It Ralph test screening” and it should be the first link that comes up.
