at least this is one light in the tunnel of the what the f*ck darkness of the finale.

    • Tennis4Life

your logic makes perfect sense to me. better words have never been venomously spoken.

    10 choices is too few… I have about 20 that I really cared for…

    • Theaterboy1

I know…it’s so hard to pick just 10!

  • Andy

Rumour Has It/Someone Like You was possibly the best song the show has ever done. Quite possibly.

    • http://twitter.com/Persephone311 Persephone

completely agree!! Rumour Has It/Someone Like You is the best song they have ever done…I won’t even put the possibly in front of it because that song was freaking EPIC!!

  • StarKiddie

    cough syrup.

  • http://twitter.com/purplehrdwonder Caitlin Kelly

I couldn’t pick ten since there were plenty of songs I liked but didn’t love–as well as didn’t like. “Somebody That I Used To Know,” though, is easily my favorite song the show has ever done (though Matt Bomer is also one of my favorite human beings, so I’m biased). I also voted for “Shake It Out,” “Hungry Like a Wolf/Rio” (more Bomer bias!), “Cough Syrup,” “Smooth Criminal,” and “Rumour Has It/Someone Like You.”

    • Tennis4Life

ACCURATE to my own answers! :D

  • Aart223

By how im looking at it all of Rorys songs have like no votes :( i feel bad since i didnt vote for any of them. But i totally agree with Cough Syrup and Rumor Has it/Someone like you being in the lead. Even though i didnt vote for the mashup it would definetly be in my top 20. And i voted for Ding Dong the Witch is Dead because since september it has reached the second most played song on my ipod, below Happy days are here again/Get Happy. Oh wait I was wrong We are Yound had one more vote than Cough Syrup, but oh well i still voted for that too… I guess its my fault jkjk :)

  • Aart223

By the way i voted for, Do They Know its Christmas, Cough Syrup, We Are Young, Paradise by the Dashboard Light, Ding Dong the Witch is Dead, Somebody I used to know, Roots Before Branches, How Will I know, and Without. So many good ones to choose from though :)

  • akacj7

i was more into the slow emotional tunes this season. thus Fix You, First Time I Ever Saw Your Face, My Love Is Your Love, and especially Girls Just Wanna Have Fun – for it may have lacked in making sense, it was a wonderfully reimagined cover.

    • Andy

wasn’t that the one where the guy who originally did that arrangement of the song criticized them for not giving him any credit? Not that they needed to, it was just an arrangement. But was it that song or another?

  • SerenaTheIndianPrincess

    1) Rumour has it/Someone like you
    2) Shake it out
    3) Smooth Criminal
what do they all have in common? Oh yeah santana being a boss.

  • Luna

    love most of these

  • http://twitter.com/w_lowry Will Lowry

You’re missing the songs that weren’t in episodes but were released as singles, i.e. Good Riddance.

  • BlueBronze

ALL of the Mashups this year were amazing!

I hope Rory can sing more contemporary songs next year and that Mr. Shue gets a couple more as well. I know I’m probably in the minority here, but I just love hearing their voices.

    • Leigh

I hope they let Rory do something more fun! All of his songs have been so mopey and dreary– Home, Blue Christmas, It’s Not Easy Being Green…

      • BlueBronze

I really don’t like One Direction, but I listen to Glee’s cover just to hear Rory’s two lines in the song. lol

  • Tristan

    Smooth Criminal was awesome

  • Leigh

my ten: shake it out, in my life, smooth criminal, without you, christmas wrapping, we are young, abc, buenos aires, rumour has it/someone like you, and candyman.  if i could have done one more it would have been paradise by the dashboard light though

  • http://twitter.com/chelscantil Chelsea Cantil

basically anything naya sang you can add that to my list

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1618006139 Sara Rouse Martin

mostof the songs were good. disliked run the world girls

  • Laura

Can you please make sure not to compile the votes too soon! We here in Ireland (and I think the rest of Europe) don’t get the final episode until tomorrow evening! I am not sure about Australia etc, I think they are a few days later again. Give us overseas hypable readers a chance to hear all the songs before we vote, please and thanks!

  • Emmalou

All the Troubletones songs were amazing!

  • Rosie

Picking ten was so hard! I’ve picked, in the end:

    One Hand, One Heart
I Can’t Go For That/You Make My Dreams Come True
    Let It Snow
    Smooth Criminal
    Cough Syrup
    Paradise By The Dashboard Light

But I could also easily have included:
    Rumour Has It/Someone Like You
    Human Nature
    Something’s Coming
    It’s Not Unusual
    How Will I Know?
    Not The Boy Next Door

Also Do You Hear What I Hear? although it wasn’t included!

    - Rumour Has It / Someone Like You (one of the best songs I’ve ever heard on Glee!)
    - Moves Like Jagger / Jumpin’ Jack Flash (to me, better than the original)
    - Smooth Criminal (Very pure song, especially with the amazing cellos)
    - Stereo Hearts (Chord rapping :D A nice version of the song and very catchy!)
    - Glad You Came (Best Warbler song to date!)
    - Fighter (Liked this more than ‘Somebody that I used to know’, eventhough Gotye is originally from my country :p)
    - Disco Inferno (Amber blew me away with this song and I love disco :p)
    - How Will I Know (I like how this is also a very pure song with great vocals!)
    - Tongue Tied (An epic Glee moment with this epic Glee song!)
    - You Get What You Give (Didn’t like it in the episode, but it’s playing on my iPod all the time :p)

  • Luna97831

BEST OF THE SEASON: Smooth Criminal. It was perfect.

    Honorable mentions:
    *Cough Syrup
*Mean (lots of people didn’t like it, but that scene was one of my favs)
    *Tongue Tied
*It’s All Coming Back To Me Now
    *I Won’t Give Up
    *Glad You Came
    *Pinball Wizard

WORST OF THE SEASON: Fix You, sang by Mr. Schue. Maybe it’s just part of my overriding hate for him, but I had to mute the TV after like thirty seconds of the cringe worthiness.

  • TheGarBar13

Basically voted for Lea and Darren…. yep sounds right. I put in a Curt Mega vote though:)

  • RavenclawWriter

It was all Darren for me. :)

  • Cookie Monster

Darren’s emotion behind Cough Syrup makes it one of the best songs the show has ever done, in my opinion.

  • Raffc

too hard to pick just 10!!

  • Rumbleroar Luna

    I liked
Ding Dong The Witch is Dead
    Last Friday Night
    We Are Young
    Summer Nights
    Stereo Hearts
    Glad You Came
    Somebody I Used to Know
    Not the Boy Next Door
    Paradise by the Dashboard Light
Cough Syrup (but I missed it in the actual episode)

And Sexy and I Know It BUT ONLY because the dancing was hilarious :P

    But there’s so mannny

  • Rumbleroar Luna

and the Rain in Spain just because some of the lines and the ridiculousness

  • http://twitter.com/JillianWyman Jillian Wyman

    In no particular order:
Rumor has it/ someone like you
    Smooth criminal
Love you like a love song
    Take my breath away
    Tongue tied
    We found love
    Edge of glory
    We are young
    Without you
    Shake it out
*rumor has it/ someone like you and smooth criminal are my two favorites of all time!

  • Sherlock

Cough Syrup, no doubt. Favourite Glee song of all time. Better than the original song, in my opinion. (The original by Young the Giant is still great though.) Darren’s voice is so smooth, I could (and do) listen to him for hours.
