isn’t it like ILLEGAL for these kids to watch ‘Drive’ and ‘True Blod’ ? Just saying….

    • Jessica

This is the teen choice awards not the kid’s choice awards.  16 year olds are definitely watching True Blood and Drive.  haha that would be funny if True Blood was nominated for a KCA though

  • http://www.facebook.com/iDomi Domi Ed

Why is Josh nominated for 2 films in one category?
I never saw Journey, did it come out last year?
    Do they normally do that?

    Either way, weird.

    • Savanah

“Journey 2″ came out in February of this year and is still playing in some theaters.

And I thought that it was weird, too. Maybe because he had two movies that came out in around the same time and were both the same genre?

  • Tom

    No more Harry Potter. *CRIES*

  • http://twitter.com/noellebraaten noelle braaten

I am extremely confused by the choice books. I’ve read all on the list, and all are good books in their own way, but only one had had a release in the past year (Divergent/Insurgent trilogy)! Seriously, the rest were out years ago! I’m a fan of YA literature, so this is really disappointing that they couldn’t scrap up some more current novels, rather than nominating Twilight again!

  • Jason

So, “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” came out TODAY and it received a nomination.

  • Jelly

Those books have all been around for years. Except for Divergent trilogy which is probably the worst one on the list.

How dare they make us choose between The Hunger Games and The Avengers! >.<

    • Bridget

this show is basically going to be a battle of the fandoms

      • Paulie

And then we’ll all bang our heads to the wall when they give the award to Twilight.

  • Bridget

i hope chuck wins because it was the last season

  • Mia

My choices for Chris, Lea and Glee :) although they really should be nominated as a drama for this season at least.

  • applepie

The Hunger Games VS The Avengers… This is gonna be GOOD!

  • Hp1d62442

Choice music group, where is One Direction??

    • Ava

      lol

    • recklesscupcake

i agree with you one hundred percent this stinks if one direction was on there they defs would win….lol

  • Hermione Granger

I think Safe & Sound should’ve been nominated for Best Country Song… Not sure if it’s really country but honestly that’s so much better than Sparks Fly, which is getting pretty old.

In other news, I am now crying in a corner, lamenting the absence of Harry Potter :(

  • Elphaba Thropp

Where is Harry Potter? Where? Where?!

  • Bernardotriana

this is OUTRAGING where the f*ck is HARRY POTTER?

    • Jason

I really hope you’re joking. It won LAST year.

  • http://twitter.com/Steven_Locke Steven Locke

The Secret Circle should be up there too!

  • TheBestGuest

And Harry Potter is where??? That’s just despicable. And racist.

    • Lavender

It’s not racist, I don’t think Harry Potter is eligible anymore.

      • Kath

Then how does The Giver qualify?

        • http://twitter.com/glasswatar Sarah Sutherland

its becoming a movie soon, that is why…

  • Lei_anorien

Wow….. No HP….. Oh well, HP is not for the feeble minded…… I have nothing against the Avengers and Hunger Games, in fact i loved it!…… But what’s with the old books? and can an actor be nominated for two films? an actor can be great in one film but also be horrible in another…. This is just so……..

  • Alyssa

i have to choose between the hunger games and divergent?? noooo!

  • Natalia

i’ll have to pick between hunger games and avengers…in multiple categories…NOOOO

  • Mys

Why in the world do people care about these awards? Can someone explain it to me? Is it just because it makes teens feel like they have a voice or something? I can’t fathom ever having an interest in this at 23 or 13.

  • Mad

    Battle of the fandoms!!!!

  • http://twitter.com/glasswatar Sarah Sutherland

Guys, I’m pretty sure Harry Potter is too old to qualify for these awards… It came out last summer, almost a year ago…

  • DramaCutie8

What do they mean when they say the first wave of nominations? Is there going to be more?

  • DreamNox58

I feel the need to vote at least once.  I don’t know why, must be an addiction to voting or something.  I know half of these things are fixed anyways.

  • Zion

Kind of confused on how The Giver got a nomination being about a decade old…

  • Hp1d62442

I think that favorite reality show should be renamed to favorite trainwreck show.

  • Potterhead667

    Way to diss Harry Potter
