We’re that much closer to a sequel to last year’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes, as Scott Z. Burns (Contagion, The Bourne Ultimatum) has been tapped to pen a sequel.
Reports Heat Vision:
The new project is taking the story to the next level, with the apes on the path to emerge as society’s new rulers.
A previous draft of the film was penned by Amanda Silver and Rick Jaffa, who also wrote the first film. Andy Serkis is set to return as Caesar, with director Rupert Wyatt also attached.
