Fans of Community know that there is a long-running bit called Inspector Spacetime that spoofs Doctor Who. Apparently Karen Gillan, who plays Amy Pond on Doctor Who, is a recent fan.
BBC America is actually running a Twitter campaign with the hashtag #AmyMeetsAbed. Since Karen Gillan recently wrapped filming on Doctor Who, she’s certainly available to be on Community when filming begins this summer.

Update: In case you aren’t already aware of Community‘s parody here is a video example. Troy and Abed, the male bffs of the show, portray Constable Reggie and the Inspector respectively. Most of their work is done in their infamous dreamatorium, but this episode features a snippet filmed in the Greendale’s study room.
