Can’t wait for the seventh series of Doctor Who to finally hit screens this fall? A mini-episode will be premièring next week, which should certainly help bridge the gap!

British children’s magazine show Blue Peter will exclusively air the episode, written by the winners of this year’s “Script to Screen” competition. The contest was launched back in January by Karen Gillan, and the winning entry was submitted by “three Blue Peter viewers.” The as-yet untitled episode will début during next week’s edition of the show in Britian, on BBC One at 5:45 p.m., May 24. No official broadcast date has been set by BBC America.

Check out last year’s winner below, and be sure to check back next week to watch the new episode!

Are you looking forward to next week’s mini-episode?

This wont “bridge the gap.” It takes place between series 5 and 6 (“I can’t believe River blew you up”/”Where’s my fez?”)

Oh sorry! Didn’t realize this was last year’s! My apologies! Looking forward to the new one!

Yes! I can’t wait to watch! It has been too long since I saw a new Doctor Who episode! (And yes, Christmas feels like it was forever ago.)
