George R.R. Martin has updated his blog, revealing some new information about his script for Game of Thrones‘ third season, casting, and more.
Martin writes a lengthy post about the Hugo Awards, the NFL, what he’s been reading (The King’s Blood by Daniel Abraham) and more, and on Game of Thrones he says:
I finished and delivered my script for season three of GAME OF THRONES. It’s episode 307, with the working title “Autumn Storms.” David and Dan seem to like it. Casting is in full swing for the new season, so I’m watching auditions every night. Froggy may be turning up soon, but don’t hold your breath. I’m too busy to devote much time to whipping up obscure clues.
Previously, Martin has also written the ninth episode of the current season, entitled “Blackwater,” and the season 1 episode “The Pointy End.” What do you think the episode “Autumn Storms” will be about? We have to assume it will include a key event from A Storm of Swords, considering they’ve got the author writing it!
