We do not even have a firm release date or price for Nintendo’s next console, but if a leaked list from Blockbuster UK is to be believed, we may know what games are launching with the Wii U when it releases.

According to pictures sent to GoNintendo, the list of games that could be available day one for the Wii U are:

  • Aliens: Colonial Marines
  • Assassin’s Creed III
  • Batman: Arkham City
  • Darksiders II
  • DiRT 3
  • Formula 1 All Stars
  • Game Party
  • Ghost Recon Online
  • Just Dance 4
  • Killer Freaks from Outer Space
  • Marvel Super Heroes
  • Metro Last Light
  • Monsters Party
  • New Super Mario Bros. Mii
  • Ninja Gaiden III
  • Pikmin 3
  • Rabbids Party Land
  • Raving Rabbids
  • Rayman Legends
  • Shield Pose
  • Splinter Cell 6
  • Sports Connection
  • Tekken
  • Your Shape 2013
  • Zombie

Many of these titles have already been confirmed as in development for the system. A few though, especially Zombie, raise a few questions.

If this is indeed the lineup Nintendo releases alongside the Wii U, players won’t be short on quality titles to test out their new system.

What would you think if this was the launch lineup for the system? Would you be more likely to pick up a Wii U at launch knowing you’d have quality titles to play on it?

This doesn’t look promising. Software, not hardware, makes a good launch.

DOESNT look promising? So A mario game, THE long awaited Pikmin 3, Rayman legends, Metro, Darksiders 2, Assasins creed, etc are games no one will wan’t? me personally would only buy mario, pikmin, metro, legends and darksiders. but thats still 5, and most people would want at least two. And this is LAUNCH DAY. PS3 had nothing on launch compared to this.

Also, proof that launch line up isnt everything, 3ds didnt have much and yet still outperforms the PSV consistantly

I know it would be far too soon after Skyward Sword, but I was really hoping to see a new Zelda title here.

So is there no Super Smash Bros. then?  That would be a really bad idea on their part.
